This item is amazing and lasts forever in the fridge. A little goes a long way. This one bag lasts me about 6 months. I was sick of buying products that say they include dead sea mud and then only contain minuscule amounts. I trust AHAVA and I don’t feel like I am being a sucker and paying for mud from someone’s backyard. This is the real stuff. I use it to make soap bars and clay bars for body masks. Enjoy!

In 1994, I traveled to Israel and the Dead Sea and experienced the healing properties of this mud. Although, I occasionally do a full-body application, for the most part I use it for my aching hands or feet. I CAREFULLY heat a small portion in a bowl and apply to area that hurts. I wrap in Press N Seal to hold to skin, then wrap in "space blanket" and a towel to retain heat. After about 20 minutes my ache is gone.

I use Dead Sea mud on my face every day, once a day in the mornings (I know, I know, body mud is not recommended to be used in this way). It is the only thing that has ever worked against my acne with consistency. I also have contact allergies to most bath/beauty products, so it's hard to find hygiene products that won't make me break out in blisters (yay!) or eczema. Dead Sea mud is about one of the few that has caused zero irritation in the two+ years I've been using it daily.The only complaint I have is that this batch in particular, for some reason, doesn't seem to be working as well and now I'm breaking out a bit again. Not the worst acne I've had, but worse than I've had in a while. I've used Ahava' mud before and this is the first time it hasn't worked as well. But my skin was looking fine until I opened the most recent bag. Bummer.

I have been using this mud for a few weeks and I love it! It is very easy to apply, just spread it on your body and leave it for 10 minutes. It feels cool and refreshing on the skin, and it has a pleasant earthy smell. It rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and detoxified.

Left me so soft! BUT left my shower so dirty lol. the second time around i rinsed off with the hose THEN i showered. JUST DONT SHAVE BEFORE. It contains salt. It burns. Flakes as it dries so dont walk around youll make a mess. Takes a bit to dry if you cake it on to thick. Make sure you leave it sitting in hot water for a few minutes before use or itll be ICE cold. One package did my whole body three times. im 5'6. Make sure you rinse well because even after i rinsed it all off outside then in the shower ;llater that night when i took a bath the water turned grey even after soaping twice! GREAT HAIR MASK TOO

This mud is great to rejuvenate your skin. Ig you cant be at the Dead Sea, this is the second best treatment.

Went to Israel last year. Wife asked me to send her some of this product - lots. Visited factory by Dead Sea. Discovered what shipping costs would be, plus did not want to lug a large order around for a month. Went on line and found an Ahava dealer less than a mile from our home back in Los Angeles. Price was actually almost the same for purchase. Shipping only a few dollars more, and I did not have to carry an extra 10 pounds or so of product. Wife received product and very happy. Still thinks I sent from Israel -- shhh. Don't tell my secret.
