During the holiday season many purchases people make are "gifts" for another party. 1. How can you review an item that is a gift before you actually gifted it. 2. I might like it but not have any clue if the person actually using it is liking it. 3. How often do people come to you and say, "that gift you bought for me was......" My friends/family wouldn't tell me if they were unhappy with a gift I purchased for them. They are too polite for that. I found this based on appearance to be very nice and worth the money. Since I will not be actually using the product I can only rate it on appearance and that is not really helpful.

Great product and loved the wide array of colors but was slightly disappointed about the makeup quality.

Product is worth the price value. For beginners got dinged on points because this product truly depends on someone's knowledge of makeup and how to apply it to begin with as to the experience they will have with it. So far the product applies nicely, holds up well when used through the day, washes off other surfaces well (such as applicators and brushes), however some of the components like included concealer powders that the description says is included isn't permanently labeled and can be confused with other types of products in the set (thus part of that beginners might need to know what they are looking at). Its eyeshadow mainly and fun colors for varying body makeup usages.

The colors are vibrant and it they stay on all day.

this item came broken and I was really disappointed... and all the broken pieces mixed in with the other makeup....we gave it to our 12 year old for her birthday!! We will keep it because she really likes all the compartments and didnt seem broken hearted that it came crushed. I felt really bad when she opened it excited and it was broken. I give it 3 stars only because she liked it so much anyway and it seems like good quality otherwise.

Depending on what you’re using this set dictates the number of stars for the review in my opinion. Since the purchase was for our nine year old to play with it is perfect and she loves it! If I were to use it I would have to give this set a one star rating for although compact and beautiful the colors are not well pigmented and there is lots of fall out.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas this past year for her to use as play makeup. Here we are 6 months later and she still has 85% of it left. The colors are very pigmented. VERY. A little goes a long way, especially for kids and play. The case is very sturdy as well. it's been dropped, thrown, and left outside overnight and the makeup inside is still in good working order. This would be prefect for someone just starting out using makeup since there are soooooo many colors to choose from. I've even been contemplating buying one for myself.
