Best travel pencil holder out there! Holds 124-133 pencils/pens!
I did a lot of shopping research and these BTSKY Deluxe PU-Leather Pencil Cases the best pencil cases I've found! I liked my first case so much I had to get more to safely store and organize the rest of my pencil and pen collection. So I now have 4 of these, one for each type of pencils/pens*:[1] Hard Leads & Micron Pens (Prismacolor Verithin 36-set, Derwent Studio 72-set, Sakura Gelly Roll, Staedtler Pigment Liner),[2] Soft Leads (Prismacolor Premieres Soft Cores 150-set),[3] Specialty Pencils & Pens (watercolor pencils, metallic pencils, fine tip markers, Sakura Gell Roll),[4] Crayolas (an inexpensive 124-set I can safely lend out or share without worry).*(Below I've included a full list of all the types of pencils and pens I've successfully fit in the BTSKY Deluxe Pencil Case.)CLEVER DESIGN:The unique case design lets you comfortably color even in small or awkward spaces, such as sitting in bed, or in a waiting room chair, or at a small counter. The BTSKY Deluxe Pencil Case is created like a book, with the "pages" held securely together with zipper closures. This allows you to easily flip through all of your pencils/pens without having them roll all over, or fall to the floor, or spread out and take over the whole table top.The zippers move smoothly and easily. Sometimes the zipper pulls do creep down into the binding area a bit, but they're easy to pull back out. Once unzipped, the pages turn easily, to allow you to review all of your color options at a glance.About the size of a hardback book or smaller dictionary (see specs below), the BTSKY Deluxe Pencil Case is small enough to toss into a shoulder bag or backpack for on-the-go coloring. It comes in an attractive sturdy box with a glossy finish, making it nicely presentable for gifting! There is also a handle strap for convenience, which detaches if not needed. And the D-ring it attaches to gives me a place to hang a custom label tag, to easily identify my different cases. The *only* thing that keeps the BTSKY Deluxe Pencil Case from being absolutely totally perfect is the lack of an outside pocket to store color swatch charts. (So I store mine inside the zippered "pages.")Here's the full scoop on this baby...THE SPECS:-- It measures 7-3/8" wide X 9-1/8" long X 2-1/2" deep (spine). The 120-slot BTSKY case is the same length and width as the 160-slot, but has a smaller spine (2 less pages) -- (see pics #7-#8).-- There are 3 zipper compartments, which equal 6 pages.-- The first page of the case has 14 individual slots + 3 separate larger elastic slots, each 3-pencils-wide, to hold tools and accessories, or more pencils/pens (see pic #9).-- The additional pages (p.2-p.6) have 22 individual slots on each page (see pics #10-#11).-- This means the "120-slot" BTSKY case actually holds a total of 124 pencils + accessories, or a total of 133 pencils w/o accessories. Whoo!WHAT'S INSIDE:The BTSKY Deluxe PU-Leather Pencil Cases are the only cases I've found with *individual slots* for each pencil. (Others have only a series of wide elastic bands that hold 3-4 pencils each.) This means that when you remove a pencil from the BTSKY case, all of the others stay put! (With the other kind, the pencils slide around or out of in the gap left when you remove 1 or more pencils.)The single-slot elastic loops keep all sizes of pencils securely in place, from the newest full-length pencil to the shortest stub (1.5" long) of pencil. (See pic #12). Despite being held firmly, the pencils are still very easy to remove or replace. The pencils smoothly slide in/out of the slots, with no struggling or wrangling. Pens can require some coaxing, depending on the type and size (see list below). In addition to the individual elastic slots, each travel case also has three larger elastic loops (each 3-pencils-wide) on the first page. These can hold a sharpener, eraser, sanding block, blending stumps, paint brushes, small ruler, or additional pencils (see pic #13).COLORS:I haven't seen any reviews for these colors so I wanted to add that both the Brown Marble and White Marble are very attractive in person (see pics #1-#6). They look upscale, gender neutral, present nicely on a bookshelf (in case you don't want to announce that you do coloring books when a guest is visiting), and look "grown up" instead of like kid's cases (you won't be embarassed to pull these out in a waiting room or on a train, for example). All that info out of the way, here's what everyone wants to know...YOUR PENCILS & PENS - WILL THEY FIT?:I've comfortably fit the following types of pencils and pens in the single-pencil slots (see pics #9-#16):- Prismacolor Premiere Soft Core colored pencils (150-set)- Prismacolor Verithin colored pencils (36-set)- Derwent Studio colored pencils (72-set)- General's Kimberly Watercolor pencils (32-set)- Derwent metallic pencils (12-set)- Spectrum Noir metallic pencils (12-set)- Faber-Castell Red Line metallic pencils (12-set)- Crayola regular colored pencils (100-set)- Crayola CrazyArt colored pencils (24-set)- Dollar Tree fine tip markers (20-set)- Sakura Gelly Roll colored pens (10-set)- Sakura Gelly Roll Classic white pens* (3-set, size 05 to 10)- Staedtler Pigment Liner black pens* (6-set, size .05 to .8)- Sharpie Fine Tip micron pens* (size .1)*For the Sakura Gelly Roll pens and Dollar Tree fine tip markers, the barrel slides in easily, but the cap width impedes their placement if all the pens are positioned with the caps placed side-by-side (facing in the same direction). However, if I simply alternate the cap direction left/right when I place the pens in the case then I don't need to skip loops to make room for them (see pic #14).*For the Sharpie Fine Point micron pen and Staedtler Pigment Liner pens, I found it's easiest to place them with the caps facing in the same direction, but just skipping every third loop (2 pens + empty loop + 2 pens + empty loop, etc.) -- (see pic #14). This allows me to see the barrel labels for point size more easily (alternating cap direction would mean some of the labels would display upside-down).YOUR TOOLS - WILL THEY FIT?:I've comfortably fit the following tools in the single-pencil slots (see pic #12-#14):- Prismacolor Colorless Blending Pencil- Derwent Blender pencil- Derwent Burnisher pencil- Tombow Mono ZERO Round pen-style eraser (an awesome, indispensible tool -- buy it!)- Artist's Loft tortillons (size 3/16" to 1/2")- Artist's Loft blending stumps (size 1/8" to 3/8")YOUR ACCESSORIES - WILL THEY FIT?:In addition to the individual elastic slots, each travel case also has three larger elastic loops (3-pencils-wide) on the first page. All of the following accessories fit securely (see pic #9, pics #12-14):- Artist's Loft blending stumps (up to 7/16")- General's sanding block- one hand-held sharpener(Mobius & Ruppert Brass Round Double Hole Sharpener, Mobius & Ruppert Brass Bullet/Grenade Sharpener, or KUM 2-hole Steel Wedge-style Sharpener)-- one block eraser(General's/Factis Magic Black Eraser, General's/Factis Extra Soft White Vinyl Eraser, or Derwent Vinyl Eraser ... all 3 types are stated as suitable for charcoal, pastel, colored pencil and graphite)(Note: All of the above pencils, pens, tools and accessories are available on Amazon, except of course the Dollar Tree fine tip markers.)Hope this helps! :)CONCLUSION:Even without an outside pocket, I give the BTSKY Deluxe PU-Leather Pencil Case *5-STARS* and heartily recommend it to anyone who wants a stylish yet efficient way to safely store their pencils or pens!*HEY! I love this case
First of all, this pencil case is really cute. I got it in the tealish-green color and it's so pretty. Second of all, it's almost perfect. The case is sturdy, the zippers haven't given me any problems, and the pencils fit just right. They're held in place securely, but still easy to slip in and out. I'm not sure if mine is a fluke, but it actually came with 124 pencil slots, which was a nice surprise. I spent two days searching for my 4 missing pencils before I realized there was extra space. My only qualm is that you have to unzip each individual section, instead of the case being flip-book style with just one main zipper. Still, it's a fantastic case, and if I ever find myself in need of another one, I'll probably be coming back for the purple.

Very cute, fits a lot of pens
I love it but wish the holders were larger, itโs a struggle to take the pens out when they have a grip on them.

Fabulous as always
The only pencils case to have in my opinion. Love the material it's made of. Color is great and they are very well made. For me I only like single slots for my pencils and don't like single zipper for closing because it makes getting the pencils in and out harder.
