Purity Farms Organic Ghee Clarified Butter, 7.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)

This is just the best tasting ghee. It has the texture of a thin paste but melts perfect on toast, melts perfect when frying eggs and doesn't splatter like when using whole butter. We find we need less of it too AND it is perfect on steaks. Just can't find a thing to complain about with this product. It's just perfection in a jar!!!!!!

There is a date on the jars of April 30, why? No expiration date? Don’t want these

We use this with a splash of olive oil to give a richer flavor to sauteed foods and alone to flavor/saute things like mushrooms - wonderful. I keep it in the fridge and it stays fresh for months (who knows, maybe for years! but a 7.5 oz jar never lasts more than a few months even with frugal use).

Note that the 7,5 oz is a small jar. Not what is pictured here. This is fantastic ghee though. Doesn't smoke readily so it's great for high-heat cooking. I works really well for making popcorn the old fashioned way, in a pot. The popcorn comes out very fluffy and buttery.

Of the various brands of Ghee I've boughten, this is, in my opinion, the finest quality Ghee one can purchase. The taste is velvety goodness and extremely well clarified. You want the best ? Then forget the rest. This is one clarified butter for the finicky cook. Love it !

Can't cook without this! Have been a big fan of this product and will continue to use it!
