Spider-Man: The Ultimate Villain Showdown

I used to have this out on VHS when I was a kid and now I got it this time on DVD since VHS stopped being made. Now I have to get the other ones on DVD.Definitely was the best from my childhood.I recommend it….

Not in episode order, but I should have read the reviews. Unfortunately, it looks almost impossible to find the complete collection in order. Still, these are about the best episodes of the entire series, so completely worth it.

Their are 4 episodes on this disc from the 1990's Spiderman comic book cartoon series. Spidey only fights one or two villains at a time in each episode. This does not exactly follow the original show chronologically with each episode. It follows the theme of each disc, so some episodes that happen later on in the show are shown early on this disc before other earlier episodes. I would recommend buying or renting this if you love Spiderman. This is Spidey at his best. The way I remember him as kid.

I ordered this for my nephew who is 8 and it was not kid friendly.

Great Show. Happy with the purchase, just wish it came as a complete series set. I'm still hopeful they will one day release the complete series to DVD.

This is no doubt the best Spiderman animated series ever. This dvd sure brought back memories of how much I've missed this show. It was a lot better than the series that followed (Spiderman Unlimited I think it was called) which didn't last long, now I hear MTV might have a new version soon. I highly doubt that will compare to this. My only disapointment with is that the show finale ended pretty week. Instead of us getting Spiderman having a big battle to get Mary Jane back he enters an alternate reality where he meets his creater Stan Lee.....give me a break.Well anyway there's 4 episodes included on the disc, including an episode from the 60's cartoon series. All 4 are entertaining, they first 2 features Spidey battling the Doc Oct, the 3rd has his first outing with the Green Goblin and the 4th is entertaining but doesn't feature a super villain which is some-what disapointing. Instead it has him facing a gang who battles Spiderman with a new weapon technology. Although this dvd surely gets you ready for the movie, it leaves you wanting to see more episodes of this great show.

Classic Spidey! It's a great dvd for anyone that likes Spiderman.
