These are nicer looking than other hair stoppers, but they are much more difficult to clean. Hairs stick to them and often are caught winding through or and around both sides of the stopper.

Q: Does it collect short hair at all from men at all, or just long hair?

I believe it collects everything. I have long hair and shower second, then clean it out so I couldn't say for sure how long and short the hairs are. I just know that it catches a lot and I don't see many "strays" around the drain.

Awful they just move around, they do not have suction. I don't understand the good reviews unless I haven't figured out how to use these.

What I’d like to know is in the video it shows how it stops things from going down the drain but then when they show it being easy to clean they run it under the faucet and toss the stuff they originally caught with the hair catcher down the drain. So do I want stuff going down the drain only to clean the stopper and ending up throwing it down the drain anyway? Why not save a step and forget it. Poor advertising. Show it being cleaned over a trash container.
