Wasabi Power Battery for GoPro HD HERO2, GoPro Original HD HERO and GoPro AHDBT-001, AHDBT-002

This battery was purchased to replace the dead battery in my GoPro Hero camera. This is one of the first HD quality GoPro cameras that was released, so the battery was quite old. This replacement battery was a good price and the quality of the battery seems great so far. It charged up within the expected time and has performed quite well so far.

The suggestion was add some electrical tape to the battery to make it more stable in a GoPro camera. I made the mistake of wrapping the tape around the battery which did not allow the door to latch on. But the tape was easy to pull off. Second attempt was cut tiny strips (I needed two on each side) and run them just along the sides. The battery seemed to fit well length-wise.Once I had the two little strips of tape the battery fit nice and snug.Has a good long life and is very easy to charge either with the charging station or in the camera. I ordered the kit...it comes with two batteries so now I have three. Good thing about the kit it comes with car charger too!

I purchased this battery for my extremely old camera and the battery came to me halfway charged After inserting the battery into my camera and plugging it in overnight to charge, the battery was completely depleted of all of its energy the next day, and I could no longer charge the battery to full in my camera. I’ve never seen a battery do this before in an item but at the same time it’s one of the very first GoPro that was released. I think it’s time to get a new one..

I bought an as-is GoPro camera without a battery (or cover!?) on the cheap for a project, and needed a battery. This Wasabi battery was extremely cheap, and had good reviews so I thought, "Why not?"Why not indeed! This battery works just as well as the original's replacement IMO, as the battery has served me several weeks of light use, including the use of the back-screen attachment. To keep the battery in place without a cover, I merely use a rubber band. While looking extremely ghetto, I can enjoy the use of a GoPro for less than the price of eating out.This battery would be good to keep as an extra if you go out for an extrended trip with no way to recharge your batteries. Honestly for the price, you should at least keep one of these as a spare!

I used this at the track last weekend. I had zero issues and it lasted longer than my OEM GoPro Battery. I had no issues with fitment or the battery moving around. I was driving 120+ MPH around the track with multiple turns, GoPro Hero2 mounted outside the car. I would say if it can stand up to that force, most people will have zero issues with this. I plan on buying more when I need to replace my batteries in the future.

Like many people I love my GoPro but get frustrated all the time with both the life of the OEM battery AND the tight fit of the thing in the camera - it takes an age to get it out without digging fingernails into the side of the battery. I purchased the Wasabi charger and Li-ion rechargeable batteries (and ordered an extra battery too) and life is now much better. The battery lasts quite a bit longer (1400mAh as opposed to 1100 on the OEM) and it is a great fit - just a bit looser than the original GoPro so pops in and out snugly without being limpet tight. The only criticism I have is that I now have multiple Wasabi chargers for different types of battery - would be great if they did adapters that could be switched out of the charger for each battery types. Thoroughly recommended!

I ended up getting two of these. Both batteries worked fine at home. When I took them to the mountains for snowboarding they both worked for about 20 seconds. It was around 20FI ended up getting a GoPro battery which worked just fine

Tengo un par de baterías baratas, la original y esta. Las baratas no son recomendables pero la Wasabi funciona adecuadamente, no noto diferencia con la original.

Esta bien, de momento el rendimiento es bueno y no considero abusivo el precio. SIempre mejor que pagar la marca gopro
