We bought the bigger size at £27.99 (arrived next day no problems). We bought this to trap a small stray cat we are in the process of rehoming who managed to give us the slip! Set up was relatively easy - the instructions could be a little more clear however. It’s a very sturdy trap, no chance something could get out. I did have concerns it may trap the cat’s tail, but several slightly bigger cats from the neighbourhood found themselves inside, safely and unharmed and tanning all my dreamies. I would recommend not placing the bait right at the back, as cats tended to lean over the pressure plate. We managed to catch several hedgehogs who drank all the cat milk, all very happy upon release. So yeah, the trap works very well. Remember to always supervise the trap, don’t leave it unattended overnight or for long periods (like when you’re at work/on a long weekend away). The handle is surrounded by a guard, which is essential! If you are trapping rather big domestic or stray cats or foxes, I would recommend a larger cage, you have quite a high chance of harming the animal with it getting a part of itself caught under the trap door. Excellent purchase, very happy I bought it. Please remember; never leave unsupervised and check at least once an hour! Not recommended for larger animals, perfect for rodents and smaller dogs/cats.

Bought this to catch a cat that keeps running away from his home and hangs around my house. Put it out and we caught him within 2 hours. His mum came to pick him up after he’d been gone nearly 2 months. Happy ending. Great product.

A sturdy and safe cage, used it to catch an escaped rescue kitten, worked within 10 minutes of setting up and putting out near where I put food out for her, the kitten wasn't frightened as plenty of space, worth every penny! Took me a little while to put together but that's down to me not being very good at these things!

Robust and easy to setup. I bought the larger version. I put bait in , and caught a rabbit within an hour . I have had it for a few weeks now and it it is easy to open the back (to place bait), and easy to reset the trap.

The trap is brilliant ,i set it and bingo first go i got a lovely cat rehomed and he is happy now with someone to look after her

I got this when my raccoon escaped. It did the job. 1 x raccoon safely apprehended. Build instructions were clear and easy to understand. One thing to note however, the metal bar and trigger plate could do with being a little sturdier - raccoons (especially trapped ones) after fairly strong, and this one managed to bend both in his panic. Still kept him secure though and I bent them back into shape no problem, but may affect the longevity of the item. Otherwise, perfect!

We caught 'nearly' seven grey squirrels.When I use the word 'nearly it means that on two occasions, by repeatedly charging on the closed door, the squirrel managed to make the locking hook slip and to escape . After I impoverished it by tying the hook with a wire the cage was able to hold the pesky rodent inside. Overall it is very helpful to reduce the number of vermin. I strongly recommend it.But beware that when you eradicate the squirrels from your garden they are replaced by other ones from your neighbourhood to keep you busy.Added note on 17/06/20 :To our surprise in the morning we found a fox trapped inside 2 days ago.It did not appear to be injured but,on seeing us,it became extremely agitated and managed to bend the hook rod by it’s teeth.Successfully released.

Excellent product. Instructions are not very clear but its simple enough to figure out. Very sturdy and reliable.
