Norpro Acrylic CookBook / IPad / Tablet Holder, 9"D x 12.5"W x 3.25"H

13 years ago (in 2011) I bought this cookbook holder to prop up and protect my cookbooks & cooking magazines while cooking. I'm not intentionally a messy cook but I hate it when spatters mar pages. This holder has done an awesome job; wipes down cleanly; is still transparent and holds big books as well as my personal 3 ring binders.

We're pleased with the acrylic book holder. I was unsure if it would accommodate a large (many pages) cookbook, but I am glad it does! It's high-quality and sturdy. While I do not use an iPad when cooking, I can see how it would work well with it, too.

I had one of these for many years and used it almost every day. When I finally dropped it one too many times, I thought I'd get a "fancier" one, but after looking at all the other options, I came back to this and bought another one. I love it! I love how wide it is so that it covers all but the largest of books and keeps them clean no matter how much I splatter. I love how easy it is to clean. And I love how there's no wooden base so you can see 100% of the page, all the way to the bottom. It's sturdy -- I've never had problems with books falling backward. Just be careful about not shoving in books that are too thick: you can break the plastic back if you push it too far.I use it whenever I cook, but I also use it for holding a book at the kitchen table when I'm eating alone - hands-free reading, it's great!

I made one if these years ago in 7th grade shop class as a gift for my mom, and always wanted one later when learning cooking in earnest. Also doubles as a book prop when studying or typing. Highly recommend!

I like that the pages are protected by the way the recipe stands in the holder. However, if you have a “floppy” notebook, it will bend backwards so you’ll need to support it somehow

I really like this cookbook stand. No fuss, super simple, fits different size cookbooks, and love that the acrylic protects your pages from getting dirty.

I have had this on my wish list for a long time and I don't know what I was waiting for. I have needed it since I use a lot of recipes and it works well with both my books and my binders. Now I don't have to set my book on the dining room table while I am working a couple of feet away at the counter. I can have my recipe front and center. I can also retire my book weight. 🤭It's easy to clean and easy to put back into box it comes in for storage purposes.If you've had this on your wish list as long as I have, just get it! You know that you need it and it's inexpensive. Stop procrastinating!

I love to cook, and I love my cookbooks, with their beautiful pictures.. but I don't like getting the pages wet, splashed or getting any other foodie ingredient on them. This does such a great job of holding the book up so I can see it, while still protecting the pages from my cooking splashes!
