New BalanceWomen's 813 V1 Hook and Loop Walking Shoe

Very , very LIGHT WEIGHT, which us older gals appreciate. The toe area is very rounded and comfortable. No pressure felt on my toes. I wish the heel came up a tiny bit higher in the back, but it's not a deal breaker. The inside insert is removable and may make my foot go down a little deeper.I wear relatively THIN 100% cotton socks. I think they would be very tight if I used a HEAVIER ATHLETIC style cotton socks. They're leather and MAY be able to be stretch, but unless you're barefoot, wear a thin cotton or nylon stockings or use those no show cotton footsies it might be IFFY.If your feet swell, I'd get the next half size up. There's a little tag that says you can cut off the ends of the straps at the designated creased spots, if they are too long when fastened. That's a nice touch.Seems well made....they are leather and look like they'll last longer than I'll be around.....

T he price was manageable. Ease of putting them on is a plus. I would purchase them again

I have a spastic foot after surviving a hemorrhagic stroke and need a deep toe box to accommodate my curled toes. I also needed shoes that I could fasten with one hand. The Velcro closures are perfect for me with only one functional hand.

My mother in law has purchased two pairs and only because the first pair left shoe squeaked. Second pair fine.

I have used these shoes for years. I have fallen arches so I can't just buy any thing out of the BIG BOX STORES. My feet will hurt so bad I will have to wear shoes in the middle of the night to go to the rest room. Love these shoes.

The velcro fastening as I have RA and it's difficult to tie laces

We were looking for a sneaker that was wide enough for our mother's feet and had good support given her difficulty in walking. These were just perfect and, as a result bought two pairs so that we could alternate each day based on daily use.

Had to return the shoes as they were too small.

There is no way these are legit new balance shoes… something about them seem off! I own a few NB pairs that I bought in store/person so I’m surprised for what I paid these ones seem cheap feeling. I own size 9 for all NB pairs I currently own and in general 9 is my shoe size - these are significantly smaller doesn’t fit at all, there’s no way they are a size 9 even tho the label says so. It also came in a box labelled “original box was damaged in transit” no original shoe box included which makes it more suspicious. I tried to cancel my order as soon as I saw the negative reviews but it was too late - I am immediately returning these!

Wearing these shoes for one month. No support at all in shoe for front of foot on bottom and sides. Always purchased New Balance, however, they are raising prices and cutting support. After 45 minutes wearing this shoe, pain in bottom of front foot, all toes are tingling. Purchased a white and black pair & since the black pair still bothered my feet after a month, I returned the white pair and you have to pay postage, which cost me $23. Don't waste your money
