Chef WorksMen's Le Mans Chef Coat

I ordered one to see how it fit and the quality before I order more for work. Everyone was saying they run big so I wasn't sure what size to get. I normally wear an XL so that's what I ordered since I plan on wearing a t-shirt underneath to absorb the sweat (it gets hot in a kitchen). I tried it on and it fit very well in fact, not too big by any means. I could've gone with a large but it would have been more snug and I don't like clothing to be tight or restrictive. I'm 6'3" tall and weigh around 230#. I have big arms but there is plenty of room in the shoulders and upper arm area. It's plenty long enough and looks very professional. The material reminded me of a karate uniform so hopefully it will last a long time. I can't wait to get my name embroidered on it. Overall it's a very nice coat for a great price. There are other cheaper coats but remember you get what you pay for. I'm going to recommend this to the rest of the cooks. I will be buying several more for myself.

This was for my son who was participating in a culinary program. These coats were outstanding! Not only did they hold up for the entire year, they washed up easily no matter what was spilled on them. The fabric isn't super stiff so movement is easy when cooking. They are an excellent value for the price and a superior quality!

I bought the medium and it fits pretty well, except I can't button the bottom buttons, it's too tight. I wear a womans size 10 or 12 pants. That's no big deal because I don't need to button them anyway. The quality is good and I feel like it will last a long time. It's a nice alternative to just wearing an apron while cooking. I usually manage to spill or get something on part of me that the apron doesn't cover. Another plus for the chef jacket, and I think someone else mentioned this, is is does make you feel like a chef, makes you more inspired to cook.

I went with my normal size despite reviews that they run large, just in case a size smaller wouldn't work out and I'm happy with that choice. I may have gotten away with smaller, but it's not overly large on me, but definitely not constricting either. If you like to keep your sleeves down, I found they're far too loose to work with that way, you'd constantly be dipping them into the food you're preparing. Give them at least one roll, I go to or above the elbows, and everything else about this jacket is perfect. They've held up well so far and have been easy to clean when the apron doesn't catch all the mess. I don't need the front pocket, but it's there if you do. The sleeve pockets hold a thermometer, pen and large marker perfectly without any room really left for more than that, but what more would you really need? The fabric is heavy enough to not feel cheap, but thin enough to keep relatively cool. I was happy enough with the first two I bought as trials that I bought three more to get me through the work week.
