I don’t normally leave reviews, but for this I am! I’ve used the Furminator brush for 25 years and thought that was a good de-shedding brush, but it’s nothing compared to this! Within 5 minutes, I got a HUGE pile of hair off my Corgi using light gentle strokes of the rake. I currently have two Corgis, one has short hair and the other has medium length hair. It works excellent on both of them. The undercoat and loose hair glides right off! I love that the hair smoothly comes off the rake too. I’ve never used a slicker brush on them, and love this one! The fact it has a button that just pushes the hair out is awesome. This is my FAVORITE de shedding brush!!!!!

Worked great for my 2 long haired aussies! When the weather started to get warmer they were losing clumps so badly and my other brush was just covering the top layer. This one got nice and deep and got all that excess hair out. They also loved it which isn’t morning for them. I have the vacuum grooming kit and for me I loved because it sucked up the hair as I brushed it but they started hating it and running to their kennels as soon as I pulled it out so I knew I needed something else. This was amazing for them. I love the doubled sided feature that allows one side to get in deep and then flip it over to get any excess. My house isn’t filled with floating hair everyday and my pups are mush happier!

I love this tool for grooming my dogs and cats. Works at de-shedding and getting those hard to brush out mats. Fits my hand perfectly and it's easy to clean out the tool. Great product, worth the money.

A nice addition to my grooming supplies. It’s made very well and works as described. It does tend to pull the hair when trying to work out a mat, which made my dogs yelp, and the mat gets caught in the teeth; which is why I gave 4 stars because it’s literally made for working out mats. I still recommend it and will continue to use it on my Cockapoo and Golden Doodle.

This grooming rake works incredibly well. I bought it for my dog who has a thick coat and sheds constantly, and I was amazed at how much loose hair it pulled out the first time I used it. It gets deep into the undercoat and removes hair that a regular brush completely misses. It’s also very easy to hold and feels sturdy, not flimsy like some grooming tools I’ve tried. After just a few minutes of brushing, there was a huge amount of loose hair removed and my dog’s coat looked much smoother. If you have a dog or cat that sheds a lot or gets mats in their fur, this tool is definitely worth getting. It really does a great job pulling the loose hair out.

A friend recommended this to me. She said all of her animals want to be first when she gets it out. I wasn't buying that...but I am a believer now. At first my little guy wasn't interested but it got so much hair off of him that as soon as he sees it now he is impatiently waiting. It works extremely well and I have a happy cat!

The only brush that truly gets the job done. We use it on both our Lab and our cat, and we’re already on our second Maxpower Grooming Rake. It removes the undercoat and an unbelievable amount of loose hair. One tip: because it’s so effective, use it outside—or keep a vacuum nearby if you’re in a colder climate. Also, wear clothes you’re planning to wash. The amount of hair it pulls out is no joke. Second tip: since it’s designed to grab excess hair, be gentle. I use a light detangling conditioner on our Lab beforehand. If the coat is dirty or dry, the rake can snag slightly, so take your time to avoid any discomfort. Overall: 5/5. This brush absolutely does what it’s supposed to do.

I bought this brush based on the reviews, carefully observing the pictures to see if it would work on shorter haired beasts. I have a mutt that is 0% Labrador Retriever, but has Lab hair and undercoat. This brush works where others have failed. You're definitely going to want to brush your dog outside with this thing! I had the Furminator and it does work, but it was sharp and pointy and the dog didn't seem to enjoy being brushed. She has no complaints with the Maxpower Planet Pet brush and it seems to work just as well if not even better and easier. It's cheap. Just buy it and give it a try before the world realizes how good it is and the price goes up!
