I had "Amazon Choice" rated brass connectors before, and I wasn't happy with them any more. The disconnect mechanism was sticky, they leaked, and they could not be disconnected when the hose pressurized. These plastic ones have none of those problems.These plastic connectors have a large gripping surface so it is easy to pull to disconnect, not sticky, and I could disconnect it even when the hose is pressurized. There's a valve inside the grey connectors to stop the flow when nothing is connected to it so you can change tools without having to go to the faucet.When researching this product, I found many reviews suggested saying brass ones are ore durable, and they're probably right about that, but these are so much less trouble. Even if I find myself replacing these in a couple years, I probably won't be going back to brass.

$5.08 At Home Dep. $25 here. Wish I had done this years ago. Have a rv truck camper. Pull in at dark is not fun trying to screw on hoses. Very hard to see fitting on camper then it cross treads or leaks with regular hose screw on. I Leave adapter on full time on camper end. Can hook up in a minute where it could take 10 before and leaks. I got my water hose with the the large easy turn end for the park faucet, recomended. I used yellow fitting at camper end to see easy.

You have choices on how to use these quick connect devices: Attach the large Blue female connector to the faucet, or connect the small Yellow male connector to the faucet. These look like they were compatible with another brand I have and they are. I tested both out and did not have any leaks. Once you've put quick connects on your hoses and attachments, you will wonder why you never did it before. But if you do that, this is a great starter set.

Very easy to use, makes connecting the hose much faster. Attachements between hose and bib are great, between hose and nozzle has a very small drip/leak. It could be the nozzle (of the same brand) itself I guess so I'll still give it 5 stars. Good purchase, saves the annoyance of having to "screw-connect" the hose to the bib every time

I failed to read that these should not be used below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. We need to use ours year-round. During the summer we had no problems. The temperature dropped to 32 F this week. I used the hose, coiled it, and dropped the spray nozzle. The connector snapped into two pieces. Plastic weakens in cold weather rendering these useless for the winter months. I recommend staying away from these connectors as they are too susceptible to breaking in cold weather. Melnor QuickConnect 4pc Set costs $9.49 or $2.37 apiece. A 10 piece brass quick connect sells for 22.98 or $2.29 apiece. I would not buy the Melnor again.

I bought these because the sprinkler shown came with one end of a connector so i bought these and wow!.. they do feel sturdy.. they don't leak, and they stop water just like they say!!! So i ordered a sprayer.. I dont know how or why i lived without these!.. between the grass and our extensive gardens, ive been gettin splashed for no reason.. now I'll be able to just click the attachments on and off.. very happy.. Sprinklers pretty cool too!😺😺😺😺😺

Wow, these are great! I bought them on a whim as I was tired of tightening and untightening sprayers, sprinklers, and splash pads.Better than expected and now I’ll never not have these around. While you need a little muscle, you can fairly easily take these on and off even with pressurized water. When you take them off the water flow stops! I did not know that! So when I’m switching the sprinkler to a new patch of lawn I simply unplug the hose and when it’s in position plug it back in. No more getting laughed at as the sprinkler hits me!

Estoyuy contento con el producto, si desconecto el aspersor de riego no termino peleando con el agua para que no termine mojado ya que que tienen un seguro que impide que el agua salga si no está conectada, el acopliento con otro utencio es rápida, sin salpicaduras y fácil a comparación de las conferencias que tenía anteriormente.
