Way to spicy if you add the whole pack of sauce but perfect if you add a bit and adjust as needed. If you like spicy instant meals you found your fav. The rice noodles are very very chewy. This is my first time trying rice cakes and as it turns out I'm not a fan. The sauce thickens as it cools. The only downside really is its hard to see the line that you add the water up to.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s spicy, I added half of the sauce packet and it still was very hot but the flavor was so good I couldn’t stop eating! The rice cakes seem high quality too, 10/10 will buy again.

First time trying it this brand and the food itemitself, it’s also kinda pricey but it’s expected his you can’t really get this item at the average supermarket. It’s pretty spicy and not sure if I would buy this again but I think it’s good if you know how to prepare it better.

The plain rice noodles are a fun bouncy yet pasty taste for every bite — if you like gummy textures, this is for you.The flavor packet. UM. There is nothing I know of that can prepare non-accustomed persons to the flavor you get eating this. Out of all the 5 senses — I could not tolerate the odd sensation of tasting something that seemed all sour, salty, bitter, sweet, and sour all at once. Not even in that order but just a very, weird experience for a flavor I don't know how to describe.It was just too strong of flavor that I couldn't like so that is why my rating is low.

I tried the carbonara tteokbokki (pink container) after seeing many Korean convenience store tiktoks. It is insanely delicious! I'm new to Korean food but I've tried several brands and flavors of tteokbokki. This one is my favorite. Only 2 complaints: I wish the portion size was bigger (it's a fraction of the size of the cup it comes in) and it takes soooo long to arrive from overseas. Why is it not stocked up somewhere in America?? It truly is the best cup o' tteokbokki there is!Edit: if you find it too spicy, I've found that adding mozzarella (like in all those Korean convenience store tiktoks) really does help tame the heat. And it's delicious. Highly recommend adding mozzarella.

These have been popping up on my tiktok for a while and I was so excited to try. Firstly I ordered the cheesy flavor and I followed the directions. I didn't like the sauce without adding cheese. I used Velveeta slices because it's what I had on hand.... Tried it and omg still too spicy. I added some sugar and at first delicious. And then that heat came back with a vengeance! Suddenly those rice cakes felt never ending. I loved the chewy texture it's quite like mochi but omg I couldn't handle the heat. Ultimately my boyfriend ate it. He liked the heat but thought the chewy rice cakes were a bit odd. I don't think they are worth the price. Now that I've tried it I'd rather attempt to make my own that won't be so hot. But it was definitely an experience I'd recommend once to anyone that has seen these on tiktok

The sauce packets are as delicious as usual (VERY spicy) but the toboki does not taste good at all and therefore ruins the dish.
