IFAK Pack

My husband is a heart patient and is on blood thinners. My nephew, who is a police officer recommended we purchase this to keep in our car in case of an accident. It is good to know it is there in case we need it, I would have never thought to purchase it for this use!

I purchase trauma shears on a separate order cause wasn't stated they were included. now I got an extra set. Cant argue that!!!

The tourniquet will not hold up if it’s actually used but as for the rest of the pack this is a good pick up. I needed to restock some items in my existing IFAK kit and this came with the chest seal which by itself can be 20$ or more. When you remember you’re getting this for the seal, bandages, and clotting agent not the tourniquet you’ll find this a great deal. Spend the money on a real good tourniquet. After all how much is your life worth?

Has the basics but the tourniquet is a cheap knockoff of the NAR CAT tourniquet. Would definitely recommend getting a better tourniquet

Was going to use this kit as a training aid. When we opened everything. It didn't seam to be the real thing.

There is no perfect or complete IFAK kit. But this one is close and is a great price. The idea here is to keep yourself or your team member going long enough to get to more definitive care. So I added a nasopharyngeal airway. Otherwise, put it in your Molle and go. Everyone has their preferences; just remember you have to carry what you pack. Otherwise it does you no good. The full trauma kit is in the trunk. But again, that is also for getting someone to the next stage of survival. The key piece is knowing how to use what you have at the moment to attain the desired result. Even the bag this IFAK comes in should be kept. It has many uses as well. And training is not a one time event. From time to time pull it out, look at the contents and remind yourself of when and how to use the items. Mental stimulation is mental simulation. Hopefully your imagination is the only place you'll ever have to use this gear.
