We fitted this to a Topens gate opener, about 15m from the gate, and it works perfectly every time. The backlighting is not great, it can be difficult to see the numbers as the lights are more around the edges of the buttons, but the interior light of the car is enough to see it in the dark.The one complaint would be the requirement to press PIN, and then the 6 digit PIN number, and then OK, which can be a bit of an epic to explain to a foreign delivery driver...We've had it installed a few months now, and no sign of the batteries dying or any other issues, so fingers crossed it survives the winter weather...UPDATE: Well, it didn't survive, it allowed water in and destroyed the internals. Topens were however excellent and sent a replacement within a couple of days, this time I've bought a plastic rain cover too try and keep the British weather out!

Really nice keypad, easy to use and works with any system that will work with volt free signal.

Nice compact keypad, very simple to setup and recode, and with a 6 digit pin, it's very secure.Having this means no searching for a fob when taking the bins out or when visitors turn up and park on the drive.Well worth the money.

Purchased in addition to the single arm opener and so far very impressed. The body of the lock is metal which surprised me and so far no issues at all using it. Can change the PIN once paired and is straight forward to use, being wireless was a bonus as no extra wires to route to the control box. Would recommend.

Bought this for my electric gate. We have a remote fob but wanted a keypad for the kids who don’t have a fob.Instructions look simple at first but when you are trying to program it, it just doesn’t do what it’s supposed to.Messed around with it for a while until eventually I thought it worked because the gates opened when I typed the new code.Turns out they open when you type anything as we found out when a delivery driver parked his car outside the gates and decided to punch in a few numbers.Gates happen to open out over. Let’s just say he won’t be trying to open people’s gates again by messing with keypads.Product does link to the switchboard but doesn’t work how it should.The reset instructions also did not work.

Bought the heavy duty Topens gate opener, the keypad is vital to be able to open the gate without the key fob from the outside. Works well, this is the wireless model.
