Bought for a gift--hope it's fun and she enjoys it!
I haven't gifted this yet, but I peeked inside and it is really nice! The game board is sturdy wood and the pegs are silver metal. It looks like it will hold up for hours of fun.

Yes just yes
Works perfect for kids who are creative and up for a new media. Helps if they are not careless so the rubber bands aren’t lost. My girls did great created soem really cool geometric things. I homeschool I use this for intro to geometry. My kids are 9&3 and they both really enjoy it. Small and can rebox. Compact to travel with etc. very fun.

Great for homeschooling
I homeschool our children and some of our curriculum uses something similar, but copying the shapes on paper. My kids love matching the colored bands to images on the cards. There are a lot of images to make. Even my older child ( 12 ) enjoyed making these.
