PNW Daily Driver
This backpack has been my daily commuter backpack for over a year now. Living in the PNW, Fall through Spring is a mix of constant drizzle to light rain every day, requiring a backpack that isn't afraid to be splashed. While it says "waterproof", the description is more accurate in being "water resistant". That said, this backpack has endured hour-long bike commutes in a light drizzle, to a torrential downpour that sprung on me on the way home, and everything else in-between. Not once have I worried about the contents inside my backpack; they stayed dry. Those are the scenarios that make this backpack shine. From a storage perspective, if you're a light packer, this is for you. It's great for a laptop, accessories, a light sweater, and a bottle of water or two. It's silly, but I can comfortably carry an Apple Wireless Keyboard with Numeric Keypad in this thing. Packing lunch bags in it are a little tight. I wouldn't expect to pack more than a change of clothes and a laptop/tablet if using for other travel purposes. This is a single main pocket with a laptop sleeve. If you like multiple compartments to organize items, this isn't the backpack for you. The shoulder straps come with a chest strap if necessary, but you'll be hard pressed to load this backpack with enough weight to need it. The straps themselves are comfortable for large durations of time, and I've never felt they were digging in or allowing the backpack to sit incorrectly on my back. Bottom line: it's a very comfortable, light commuter bag for environments where it will probably rain on your way to your destination.

Day Hikers: This is THE One
This backpack has been with me for years now. I use it primarily as a day hike backpack ~ it is a good length for a short torso. The pack comfortably holds all 10 essentials. I use 1-2 nalgene size water bottles. The water bottle pockets are a bit on the small side, so a nalgene fits tightly in the outer water bottle holder pocket. If you are taking a 20-24oz water bottle or a coffee tumbler, then it's an easy a secure fit. The other pocket is great for a first aid kit and snacks. The pack can handle light rain or heavy humidity without getting damp on the inside. The inside layer is a water-resistant sheet that is easy to clean if anything spills on the inside of the pack. The buckle straps on the side serve a variety of functions.. I've clipped in shoes, hiking poles, or even just an extra tall water bottle. I like the way the pack zips open with a wide, rounded top. This makes it really easy to find what you're looking for or to pack it up neatly. This pack has been with me in Great Sand Dunes National Park, mountains and dunes, and hiked a good portion of the Ice Age Trail, including Devil's Lake. I've rewaxed it a couple times over the years. It's a bit dirty, but the material is just as sturdy as day one. If your looking for a solid, sleek, and reliable day hiking pack, look no further. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect backpack!
Works great for work or day outings! Cute yet functional! Could use an extra top pocket, but otherwise perfect

Great daily commute backpack, but stains easily.
Love this backpack and color. I use it daily for my commute via ebike. 4 stars instead of 5 because it discolors/stains easily. Perhaps darker color versions don’t have this issue.

Pictures don't do it justice
I would buy another one, bag is great for a 2 pocket sack, that's what it is. Good attention to detail.

Great pack
Overall really nice day pack. I like the light color interior and water resistance.

Not waterproof
Brought this bag to Iceland and chose this because it says it’s waterproof. After we went to the waterfalls, I noticed that the bag was wet and water seeped through inside. Good thing I put my important stuff like passport and IPAD on a dry bag for additional protection, otherwise I would have been screwed.

I traveled with this backpack for 2 weeks. It survived volcanoes and beaches without a problem. The fabric is really strong and it didn't wear even after being placed and moved around on some rough surfaces. It carried around 5 liters of water, lunch box, phone, battery bank, documents, and other small stuff without any problems. It was conformable for a full day of hiking or walking around the city. It's probably not intended as a hiking backpack, but it worked perfectly fine for me. If it can survive that, then it will probably function as my daily communing backpack for some years. My only real complaint is that the side pockets don't seem to hold up as well as the fabric on the main part of the pack. I put some rocks in there and now they are slightly worn out. The internal color of the pack is practical for seeing things, but it can get dirty and stain.

This is a top quality backpack, its claim to be waterproof has stood the test of several fieldtrips in horrendous downpours. Its neat, sturdy, and easy to pack. Doesn't have many pockets compared to some similar bags, but I prefer this, saves fiddling around with different zips etc. Its comfy to wear, and looks stylish. Expensive but you get what you pay for, and I would highly recommend this backpack.
