It's actually really good! The gameplay is way more in depth than I thought it would be what with the stable management and the story mode. Graphics aren't too important to me, but I was surprised at how good they are and how accurately the horses move considering I've never even heard of the developers. The gameplay is solid, the soundtrack is soothing and appropriate. I'd even say it's oddly addictive. Like I say, bought it with low expectations and now feel I've uncovered a gem. There is the option to should you choose and a couple of the trophy's require it should you wish to get the platinum. The game has a full story mode to run through offline. I don't particularly follow American racing but they certainly don't ring a bell as being well known American racehorses. **Q: Is it like g1 jockey from nintendo wii?** A: I've only played G1 jockey on X-Box. Pharlap is okay but not as good as G1. Unfortunately there are a distinct lack of horse racing games as the makers of G1 seem to have given up on the series for Europe. They still seem to make them for a Japanese audience but not Europe.
