Pilot-12 Lite CPAP Battery Compatible with DreamStation and System One

Used on long haul flights to and from Australia, but also came in very useful during power outages caused by bush fires whilst in Australia

I followed the instructions and charged this fully for several hours before use. Each time I used it (with a supported CPAP machine - a Philips Dreamstation) it switched off after 10 minutes, despite the charge indicator suggesting it was full. Returned for a refund.In addition, despite the fact that this is a device for powering a sleeping aid, if the power supply is interrupted, the battery doesn't kick seamlessly and the connected machine has to stop working briefly (waking you up). As a bonus, it will sometimes start beeping (whilst powering a sleeping aid, remember) when the supply cuts off despite the fact that dealing with an intermittent power supply is one of the device's essential use cases! Not recommended.

I bought this product mainly as a UPS for my CPAP as I was going on holiday where the mains power supply was known to be unreliable. Sure enough when I went away the mains power supply was subject to short interruptions. So did the Pilot 12 smooth out the interruptions ? No it woke me up to tell me there was a problem with the AC supply (flashing blue light and beeps) worse than that, it stops working until you take it all apart and reset it. Solution was to charge the battery up during the day and run just on battery at night. Not quite the uninterrupted nights sleep that they boast about!
