This plunger works better. Here’s why.
Like most people, I’ve always used the standard toilet plunger to clear clogs, but when we moved to our first owned home I bought two new plungers. (I’m talking about the toilet plunger, the one with the “sleeve” that extends out of the cup. The one with just a cup and no sleeve is for sinks or tubs.) When our first opportunity arrived, I went about unclogging the toilet just like any other, but for some reason, it kept splashing violently all over the place, outside the toilet. Eventually, I got it unclogged, but had a huge water mess to clean up and sanitize. Next time happened in the second bathroom, but with the same results. I knew something was up, so I Googled it and came across a YouTube video with a dude singing the praises of this plunger and for the same reasons I described above. The deal for me is that our new toilet’s opening in the bottom where the flushed material goes down is not round. It’s kind of square and the shape of the bowl there didn’t jive with the relatively hard rubber of the standard plunger ring area, so instead of the force of the plunge going down the drain, it splashed past the plunger and up and out of the toilet. Well, I bought the recommended plunger and on its inaugural use proved to be the solution I was looking for. The soft rubber “ball” shape of the Korky plunger fits our toilet perfectly. No splashing and plenty of plunge force to clear the world’s toughest blockages delivered by my teenage son. Got a second one on order for the other bathroom.

Korky Beehive Plunger
Best toilet plunger I have ever used. 1 plunge does the job. Does NOT blow water everywhere.

Great
Bout it from Wirecutter suggestion, fits and works great. Probably best plunger I've used (although you only really notice when one doesn't fit/doesn't work). This one has worked quickly and easily every time on multiple toilets for me.

Good plunger
Worked like a charm. 1 to 2 pushes and it was all good. Like the adjustable height feature. Very worth buying.

Sturdy and functional.
I haven't had to use this yet but it's substantial and the handle is easier to grip than a usual plunger handle. I'm expecting great results if I ever need to use it, and hoping that I won't !

So much better and easier to use than plunger from the past!
Greatest plunger ever! So much easier and more effective. Does not require a lot of strength. Would never go back to old-fashioned plunger.
