Otherwise good product hurts soft area between the base of thumb and forefinger
This RiptGear wrist brace is a good product—except, by the 2d day, lt made the soft area between the base of my thumb and forefinger sore. My glove size is men’s small. I got the left-hand wrist brace. The top strap might not come in contact with your skin if the strap were narrower. This product comes in only one size. It is lightweight enough to be comfortable, hand-washable, and made of quality materials (including leather). I would rate it 5 stars if it fit my thumb area better. The Comfey Night Wrist Sleep Support Brace is comparable to this one; however, the Comfey fits both hands, has a narrow velcro strap at the top, costs more, and is made of cheaper materials. The Mueller Green Fitted Wrist Brace fits good, and Amazon sells a lot of them.

Not Meant for Large Hands
The wrist brace is as described, but the thumb whole is too tight. I wear men's large gloves, and my thumb was hurting after an hour or so. Everything else would fit any size hands, but it needs a larger opening for the thumb.

Decent job for the price.
Helped with my CTS. Helped relieve tingling in fingers and inflammation / swelling in my wrist area. The thumb hole is ridiculously tiny and left red marks on my skin until I cut the hole bigger. The brace is strudy but the Velcro is a little weak, and not sure how long it will last. Still one of the better braces out there.

Too bad the smell is intolerable
The smell is horrible. I’ve already done a gentle wash. It fits fine - it seems supportive but I can’t stand the smell so I can’t keep it on. Will try leaving it outside for a day ...

Works but velcro loses effectivness
I have had this for a little over 2 weeks at the time of writing. I wear the brace daily, pretty much all day. I did need to cut the thumb hole larger as it was very uncomfortable with the size it comes as. After that adjustment the brace became comfortable to use. The top velcro band (it has 2) is starting to no longer stick well and I will most likely need to come up with new velcro and sew it on or replace the brace with a new one. If you are typing at a keyboard all day the brace will hit random keyboard keys until you start learning to type differently. I went from over 100 words a minute down to about 60 so it does slow me down in that aspect(though maybe that is why I needed to wear it) After the 2 weeks of use I still have pain in the wrist however it has lessoned a little bit so the brace does appear to be working.

Thumb hole too small for average hand size
I figured the people that talked about the thumb hole being too small had larger than average hands but I would even consider mine on the slightly smaller side and it was too tight.

Great for surgery & swelling
I had surgery on the top of my wrist to remove a cancerous tumor. The brace that was recommended would not go on with so many stitches on top and massive swelling. This brace was perfect. I've got larger hands and the thumb hole was tight for a couple of days when the swelling was at its worst, but it was fine otherwise. The design allowed me to make it comfortable at all times. Great protection for my use.
