An excellent portable Oscilloscope
This scope is excellent. I am using it in the commercial HVAC field. I am able to see Bacnet/MSTP signals and RNET signals. The multimeter works well. I highly recommend this device.

It works good enough, though not a professional tool
I bought this because I got tired of bringing my multimeter home from work, and I decided why not an oscilloscope as well. The multimeter portion is a little slow at reading but is dead on accurate. The oscilloscope portion is very accurate, but it can be confusing going through the menu's and the screen is small with few presets, this is not a problem for someone experienced with a scope who ignores presets anyways but would probably confuse newer scope users. It is not a professional scope, it works and works well but if you want a professional one buy a professional one, hantek sells professional scopes, as does nearly every other scope maker. I bought this so I did not have to bring my autel scope and scanner home or my fluke multimeter to mess with my own vehicles or my friends vehicles, it is great for sidework and great for smaller projects for users who are patient, but if you want automotive shop or electrician tech efficiency you need to pony up for a higher end model from hantek or the other makers. So far I have checked ac ripple on an alternator and done injector and coil waveforms with attenuators. One big gripe is the lack of the 20:1 preset, as those are the attenuators sold by hantek, but they start at 10:1 and skip 20:1, not an issue for someone who can divide but again not a newbie friendly feature.

Awesome
This "do it all" meter is great! I have used it in all of its capacity as a multimeter, wave generator, and oscilloscope. I use this meter all the time to check and develop my electronic products. The only downside is the battery does not stay charged when not in use (loses a bar approximately every 45 - 60 days of nonuse). With that said, for the price of an oscilloscope, you can buy 4 of these meters or buy one meter and save lots of money.

WON'T CHARGE!!!!!! JUNK!!!!
Purchased in April, powered it up to test when received, and went to use it for the first time today a few months later, and won't power up and batteries are dead..... Garbage so disappointed...

Learning from a pro
My cousin recommended this over all the other models on Amazon. My cousin was professionally trained in electronics by Raytheon. After spending some time with this unit, he actually likes this better than his very expensive Fluke unit which costs thousands. He has now decided to buy one of these. My advantage is that I can learn through his examples and I am seeing I made the right choice. No, it is not the cheapest choice, but in it's price range it is the best. The more I apply myself, the better the unit looks to me. Paying a little more for an excellent product will return countless unanticipated benefits as time goes on.

very good but
Everything works great with it. Very accurate in the description. Only reason why i gave it a few less stars is because there was a few things missing that it said it came with. The BNC Adapter and the ground spring was missing. The other part is it doesn't come with instructions on how to use it, just a user's guide.

Don't expect fast and easy
The user interface is obtuse as other reviews suggested. I don't use it all the time and I almost always have to go back to the manual to figure out how it works. Once I finally get it set up it works fine. Would be nice if the default settings could actually do something useful like specifying how long to stay on and default voltage and frequency settings.

Great for the money, but it was not a lot of money.
Received the meter very quickly, shipped via DHL from Hong Kong. The packaging was professional, and it came with a nice case and cables. The power adapter was not for the USA, so I just plugged the supplied USB cable into a powered USB Bus, and it charged in a few hours. I found the unit easy to use and setup. The display is bright if you turn on the back light, but a little small if you are use to a fluke 97, still, it is compact and not too heavy. The problem I ran into was that when set to AC scope input, it sloped my low frequency TTL input greatly, I had to use the DC setting to get the waves square looking again. Verified the signal against the fluke, so I know it's a meter issue. I didn't try it with a high frequency signal, maybe that is what it is setup for, but it's not a fluke, so I will live with it. I will be using the meter in the field to test IRIG-B time signals, and monitory RS-485 communications, and for that, it should work well and be a lot easier to tote around than my fluke, which is kind of delicate, and much heavier.
