I have been fake tanning for as long as I can remember, mainly on my face but from time to time I do a full body tan. I cannot count the amount of products I have tried with varying degrees of success but have steered clear of mousses since I had a disaster about 10 years ago! I found them very drying which gave a patchy finish. But no more! having read reviews and heard good things about Bondi Sands mousse I decided to give it a try and am very pleased I did. My top tip is use the velvet mitt - it's a game changer for even distribution resulting in a good even, long lasting tan. So my routine is: the day before, exfoliate, shave (if required) and moisturise. The day after (once you have showered the moisturiser off) apply this product using the mitt in even strokes using sparingly on ankles, elbows, knees etc. The colour is a great indicator meaning you don't miss anything. The day after it leaves a beautiful even natural looking tan. Even my husband (who has frequently giggled at my fake tanning disasters) said it looked like the most natural colour I've ever used. The smell on application is great but yes it does still develop that fake tan smell over the hours - no getting away from that it seems. And yes it does transfer to bedding (especially white!) but washes out no problem Lasts a good 4-5 days in my experience. Hope this has been helpful to potential buyers :)

Best tan yet. And I've tried soooo many! Where under tanning pj's for the night, rinse off next morning and a gorgeous natural glow that can last up to a week with light showering, not long bath soaks. I'm super pale and use dark and it still comes out natural and not orange. This stuff is so good. Also recommend apply with their own brand soft mitt, it really gives good application so easy. Don't worry if it looks streaky on application, as long as you got every white boy, it won't be streaky once washed off :)

Easy to use. Fab colour , long lasting

I tried the Bondi Sands Dark Tanning Foam mainly for contouring my face rather than a full-body tan, and while the mousse texture made it easy to apply and blend with a brush or sponge, the shade turned out to be too dark for my South Asian skin tone and looked unnatural on me overall. That said, it still worked well for adding definition under my cheekbones and along my jawline, and I was impressed by how long it lasted — the contour stayed in place for a few days and faded gradually without looking patchy. I’d recommend this for people who want a long-lasting contour effect or deeper tan, but if your skin tone is similar to mine, you might find the dark shade a little too intense and may be better off trying the medium version for a more natural finish.

The product is a firm favourite of my daughters and works well. This is the SMALL bottle though which I hadn’t realised - expensive way to eat. Much cheaper locally or on other websites. Won’t return as my error but be wary !

I’ve tried almost every self tanner on the market and I find this product to be the best bang for your buck. It gives a more natural and bronze looking tan and it applies very evenly. I also noticed it lasts a decent amount of time when the skin is prepped properly. I definitely recommend.
