Loved reading this version as a kid. Looking forward to reading again and in the future with young family members.

A Wonderful Story
I read this book as a child, and I wanted to remember the memories I had. It is a great tale, with wonderful language. Lots of good guys versus bad guys, sword fights, and the rich versus the poor. I highly recommend it!

An entertaining and fun read
I have seen Robin Hood films but have never read the book. I read it as a part of a book discussion group and we loved it. Although the book has a progression, each chapter could stand alone. There were laugh-out-loud portions and the interactions between the characters were enjoyable. I highly recommend for all males but especially for pre-teen and teenage boys.

Book quality is outstanding--not only arrived in perfect condition but a quality manufacture.
The stories are interesting and enjoyable. However, I would recommend installing an app on your phone or bookmarking a website to translate some words to present-day English. It can be difficult (or impossible, even) to understand certain phrases in "ye olde English" without some assistance.I can't remember the last time I purchased a book of such outstanding quality--the printing, font, binding & covers. And the original illustrations are the final touch that makes this the "perfect book"!

Definitive classic! Even after so many years!
We approached this in an odd way. I didn't have/keep a copy around so when my adult son and I were watching a bunch of Douglas Fairbanks movies and moved from there to others such as the whole slew of Robin Hood movies, we ended up with the Sean Connery/Audrey Hepburn "Robin and Marion". And I told him that the last scene was sort-of out of the "real" stories, meaning the ones compiled here... because if Thomas Malory is the source of (perceived) truth for King Arthur stories then Howard Pyle is the same for Robin Hood.

Robin hood
Quite a few stories about Robin hood. I like that. It's hard to read as it's written in older English. You have to get used to it
