My son asked if there was a way to give a 6 star review. He loved this book! He was in suspense the entire time and flew through it in a matter of hours. He has read it his entire set of books.

My first grade class loves the Branches books, and this is one of their favorite series!

I am o my giving three stars based on my daughters preference. I read the book before giving to her to read and thought it was fine. She read a few chapters. Didn’t complain about not liking it at all, but has kept choosing to read other books over this one. Which surprised me because she loved studying about Egypt this year. She has chosen “girly” books over this one. I am hoping to get her to finish this book this summer. I love that there are more books to the series, which she generally loves and wants to speed read so she can read the next one. Will update my review when she finishes it, if she ever does.My daughter is seven years old and is just finishing first grade. She is reading a bit above her grade level.

My daughter loves this series of books. She's in 1st grade and is reading many other chapter books including magic tree house series.

We bought book 3 of this series through book club. Kids loved it so we bought the other 3 books in the series. Easy to read and a fun story and concept.
