It is ground due to the fact that white coffee is still a very dense and hard bean and would ruin most home grinders.

What is the best way to brew white coffee? Can you use a French press?

Usually I do a 50/50 mix or regular coffee and white and run it through a K-Cup filter replacement. When I do 100% white I treat it like loose tee, put it in the mug, pour in water and let steep, then drink as the grounds settle.

Will this work in a single serve basket?

It should work, but I would pack it in tight because the grind is not a fine as you are probably used to for your single serve basket. You could also throw the ground white coffee beans back in your home grinder to make it a little finer but the beans are super tough because they are only half baked. What we love to do at home and in our cafe is mix in a little regular ground coffee to get that 'coffee' taste. White coffee has a much different taste, more earthy, nutty.
