Neuroscience for Teachers: Applying Research is the best book of its kind for teachers, trainers and university staff I've seen. It is a practical guide to the field, highlighting what can be implemented. It emphasizes the need for rigorous research methods and evidence, and one of its strengths is its use of meta-analyses and effect sizes. The authors have surveyed and structured the neuroscience most likely to have real application into a remarkably concise and clear text. Do not be put off by the purple cover (I'm afraid its the only thing about it I don't like)- this is an exceptional contribution to a new field in education that is critically important.

Well laid out, clear and concise observations with excellent examples. It will certainly help me improve my presentation planning.
