Great Solution!
Bought this as a gift. The person who received the gift loves it and was so happy that it clamps onto the desk instead of having adhesive and potentially damaging the desk.

Portable and keeps cables from sliding off my desk
I like these little things (I have 2). If I unplug my laptop from my monitor, the monitor cord doesn't fall to the floor. I use these for an external SSD and an external DVD player as well.My only complaint (not enough to ding the 'star rating') is that the little 'pads' are not glued to the plastic clip in any fashion. I've opened my backpack to find the pad missing and at the bottom of the bag. It simply slides back on, but it'd be nice if they had glued them on during manufacturing.BTW, the country of origin for these are Malaysia.
