Detail Recount of a Legend Gone far TOO Soon.
I was really sad to hear about Kobe's passing, which send a shockwave throughout LA and the world. Geoffrey recounts Kobe's life and achievements in chronological order in this book, and back it up with a lot of numbers and dates. It’s clearly written by a fan and I’ve learned a lot reading this, even though I’ve known a lot about the topic already. For that I will have to commend the author on a well researched book.I wouldn’t recommend this for a reader looking for a evening pick-me-up nor for readers coming to know Kobe for the first time. The writing do get dry at times, it might not be the best book for these readers. Nevertheless, there’s no shortage of books for basketball aficionados. The Mamba is dead, but still you can still learn a lot from Kobe. For readers who are unfamiliar with Kobe, his documentaries call “Muse” (ps it’s not about basketball) is a nice one.

Kobe It took your death for me to know all you did in this life time.
Kobe has been the reason I am a dye heart Laker and got interested in Basketball. My world came to a stand still when I heard about the accident. Had to Revaluate My life. Yet after his death I learned who the true Kobe was and he left us with so much to live for. Love the man his story and Gigi.

Not a vry good book
Primitive language, cliche sentences. A computer could write a better book.

An Inspirational Read
Kobe is a legend, so to read up about him and how he worked his way to the top was inspiring. Easy to read book and a joy to read with my 7 year old who is into Basketball!! I highly recommend this book!!!

Poor quality, big fonts, less than 150 pages, some grammar errors, flimsy.
Poor quality, I would hardly call this a book.

Should not have been printed.
This is poorly written and has very, very poor values. In particular it dismissed a rape claim. I bought the book for a 9 year old who has recently got into basketball and I've had to return it as it is just so awful. Someone needs to deal with the section on rape - it is very damaging and should not have been published.
