SW 1204 Sinewave Power Inverter, 400-watt

A great addition to our small 18" hybrid RV. We do a lot of dry camping and need to run our generator anytime we needed AC power. This unit provides power for our TV, phone chargers and other small appliances. Very well built and a very easy installation.

I bought this unit because of the price but I soon to realize after two weeks it did not meet any of my expectations. I was going to use it for my battery pack in conjunctions with a 20aph battery but it could not sustain the paul c buff ultrawhite 600. the unit will work for two flashes and started beeping. They do have a great customer service but the product did not serve me well. I use a 4 gages wire and a 60amp fuse block a quick disconnect all connections were solid. Now I am using the power bright 600 which is sustaining anything I am throwing at it. I use it with the Excalibur 6400 and the ultrawhite 600 with no problem. Again this is my impression and my impression only this does not mean it may not work with something else but for a power pack I would consider the power bright which worked great for me.

I do not use it every time I'm in the van, but I've had it 3years of using it and it is still working. I wanted the True Sinewave for computer use. the 120v outlets are GFi protected so that is a plus.It beeps and shuts off when the house battery gets down around 9.5-10v so it saves your Lead Acid batteries.I'm running 225Ah house batteries so have not had a problem running an electric drill through it on one project that took a full day.I'd buy another one.
