This was used in a lesson on the life cycle of a chicken. I cut the pieces up and used magnetic adhesive on the back so that it could be used on a magnetic white board. The pictures are appealing to young students but also help represent the life cycle. This was definitely worth the price and could be used for many times. The students also loved using it to learn and move it around to put the cycle in the correct order.

Not pre-cut. Sigh.
Great images....but all of the pics are on one piece of felt; since they are not pre-cut, this alone increases my workload, 10 times over. Come on, Play Time Felts...... I'm already busy teaching and I don't need additional work. I'd rather use my limited and valuable time for instructional purposes. Sigh.

This is a great activity we did with the children in my daycare in the fall. We were hatching chickens and this was a great way for the children to understand what was going on especially as they were only 2-3 years old. The arrows were a bit overkill so we didn't use it as much but the children learned a lot anyway.
