EBCBrakes Redstuff 3000 Series Sport Brake Pad Set DP32130C to Fit BMW

I read stories both praising and hating these brake pads. In my personal experience they grip wayyyyy better the the OEM brake pads and product little to no brake dust. The little bit of dust the does pop up after an all day drive is easily sprayed off unlike the OEM pads dust.There is a nice semi-abrasive coating on all EBC RedStuff pads that give it good stopping power right after installation. Another benefit of this abrasive coating is the EBC brake pad actually cleaned all the funk off my OEM BMW rotors. The rotors almost look brake new.I purposely used them cautiously for 25-50 miles by giving myself extra distance going places. It really wasn't required. These pads bite extremely well off. Then with no one around one a back road do some semi high speed slowdowns 80mph to 40mph. Do this 4-8 to to times back to back and the pad will be "seated" properly.These pads really shine once there fully seated and warmed up for 3-5 miles. The bite of the pads increase as the pads get warmedOverall I'm pleasantly surprised with how good they work. I changed them myself and save around $475-$550 over having the deal do it. I'll be putting a fresh set on the rear since the front worked so well.

I bought my fourth BMW. This time a 4 series. In the past I've had 335s and a Z4. In each and every case, the front wheels get dirty really fast. The only way around that was to replace the pads with ceramic pads. I have a shop locally that specializes in BMWs and explained to the owner that I wanted to change the front pads on this car. He highly recommended these and so I purchased them. In the past I've spent less money (Akebono) but since CJ recommended these I went for them. Had them installed and have not had a moments problem. Work every bit as well as the OEMs. My experience recommends them.

These EBC Redstuff Ceramic Brake Pads are a must have if you own a BMW and are dealing with squeaky brakes. I’ve been dealing with this issue since I purchased my 335i F30 with M Sport Brakes. I took it to the dealership because they come with a 50,000 mile warranty. To my surprise they couldn’t resolve the issue and refused to change pads because they had minimal wear. I installed both front and rear pads today and the OEM pads did have substantial pad left in them. So I was nervous that swapping pads wouldn’t resolve my noice issue with my brakes.Install was straight forward and it took me about an 1 1/2 hours to complete the job. Keep in mind it was my first time ever installing brake pads.After taking the car for a test drive. I noticed that the brakes grab the rotor much better and I could feel the extra brake power through the pedal. The best part about the test drive was that I didn’t experience any annoying brake squeal during the drive.
