But gotta say, this unit has the most cumbersome battery compartment of any gadget in recent memory. Opening it is a pain, cramming in a new battery is a pain, and there's plenty of opportunities to accidentally damage the battery clip leads when putting it back together. I was specifically looking for a clamp-on ammeter that would measure low DC currents accurately, so I purchased this. Tested it against a Fluke calibrator and it looks like it's very accurate down to 50ma DC, but measurement smaller than that is not reliable or repeatable. Another key feature for us is the auto shutdown, which also works well saving precious batteries.
