Most underrated game of all time!
I like survival horror games like Resident Evil, Last of Us,and Dead Space best of all, and this game fits that genre perfectly. I own the PS3 version, and I bought this version so I could play it on PS5 and not have to keep dragging out my old PS3. It works fine so far. The sequel is great too, btw. Both games have some of the best bosses ever. Kind of on the gorey side if you're squeamish.

I have fun playing the game but there's a lot of things that bothered me about it.
I actually played this game at least three times. The first time I was not able to beat it because of the boss in chapter 14. The second time I did play it but I was able to beat it. The third time I played this game on akumu which probably wasn't the best decision, but I still beat it at the end. There are some things I did like about it and there's some things I did not like about it. The things I liked about this game. The creature designs, especially the bosses, the soundtrack, the overall vibe of the game and the voice acting. That the things I did not like about this game are the consistent repetitive enemies attacking you, sometimes the boss fights are difficult, especially when they're you're fighting the most irritating ones such as the keeper and the squid boss from chapter 14 and my number one issue with this game is the fact that every enemy kills you in one hit. But aside from that, I thought this game was pretty fun. I played again if I have to.

Mikamis real vision of RE4. Gothic horror at its finest
Evil Within, or Psycho Break in Japan, is a survival horror masterpiece which has great level design, an eerie and creepy atmosphere which you must play come Fall season on a crisp cold October night. The stoey revolves around you being stuck in a core and you are basically subjected to someone else’s evil thoughts. RE7 and Village could not fill the shoes of yours truly Mikami; granted he may have been the creator of RE4, he knew with EW he had an opportunity to showcase the real RE4 with this game. A gothic village, mansion and environments which suck you in. I love this game and is one of my favorite games of all time.
