I love Colleen Coble's books. Rainshadow Bay was not disappointing. Each page was very enjoyable reading, as everything I've read by her is always enjoyable.

No disappointment in reading this book! Mystery, adventure, secrets, heartbreak, and love. I love the way Colleen Cable weaves her stories.Who would have ever guessed the reason behind the mystery? It's probably possible in our day, but God is still in control..

I have to say that the cover caught my attention right away. The author always has appealing covers that gravitate readers to her books. Her writing style keeps readers coming back. The story is a very intricate and decisive plot. I loved the cat and mouse type theme with the main characters trying to stay one step ahead of the killer. The author pulls out all the stops to give a well written intense story that proves her skill of details that keep readers guessing.Shauna was a well thought out character. Her burdens seemed overwhelming with the death of her husband while trying to juggle work and raising her son. The author gives subtle hints of underlying questions surrounding her husband’s death. Not everything is as it seems when houses explode and vandalism follow Shauna. Is there anyone she can turn to for help? I really enjoyed learning more about her childhood and a mystery that could answer a lot of questions about her family. The author had me hooked right from the beginning and continued till the very end.Zach was a complex person to me. He blamed himself for his friend’s death but was willing to do anything to help his widow out. There wasn’t a warm reception between Shauna and Zach at first. I understood her hesitation in trusting him and enjoyed reading how they tried to let go of bitterness . With Zach being a daredevil it seemed to be his outlet for guilt. Sometimes guilt can eat you up if you aren’t careful. The story is filled with mystery that puts lives in danger and a need to protect loved ones. I highly recommend this book to readers who love a great mystery with non stop action that leads to an ending you won’t forget.I received a copy of this book from The Fiction Guild. This book has friendship mixed with suspicion and violent criminals. There are love and twists and surprises. This is my 2nd Colleen Coble novel and definitely won’t be my last.

The View from Rainshadow Bay by Colleen Coble --- I love this author's books! This book was an enjoyable mystery/romance. Yes, I will read it again. I have to admit that I still prefer her Rock Harbor Books and her Lonestar Books. Bree & Samson remain my favorite characters in Rock Harbor. However, Colleen Coble is clearly laying the ground work for this new series. I look forward to the next one as, I believe, she will have more time to develop her usual quality of gripping suspense/mystery/romance. I only gave this book 4 stars as I did not find it to be a non-stop-page-turning novel. If you are looking for beyond gripping suspense, try her, "Abomination," a book of the Rock Harbor series that was way too gripping for me. Don't start it at night. The other Rock Harbor books are page-turning suspense but not so intense. As always, her lead characters are always delightful. If you are a Christian, you will always end her books with one or more life lessons that are helpful for us as we journey onward through this world. If you are not a Christian, I believe you will still enjoy her books.AND, I love that our heroine is a former Navy Chopper Pilot! Plus, the hero is one great dude. Where can I find one like him???

This was a very good book. Colleen Coble had me guessing who was the bad guy until the last chapter. I love that kind of book!!

I have read all of Colleen Coble's books and I think this was the best. Right from the beginning I started to feel anxious, anxious to see who the killer was, and all the way through the book it held my interest, I didn't want to put it down. I loved the plot, loved the characters, loved the ending and felt sad I had left the characters behind but hoping they may appear in future books. Colleen's books are stand alone, the only series I read, and yet you just want to read the next book because Colleen is such as good writer. It was one of the best books I have ever read and you won't be disappointed, you will love it.

A great new series from Colleen Coble. A beautiful story of love which extends into revealing the love and mercy of God. It also clearly highlights the need for trust and forgiveness; so often overlooked when one is facing difficult and painful circumstances. Certainly a "real life" story.

Lots of unexpected plot twists- good read and cheap buy, engaging and intriguing first i've read by this author. Something feels incomplete

I have not read this author before but really enjoyed this book. It was a page turner that kept me guessing until the end.

Waiting for #2...she did not fail to deliver again.
