Clevamama Clevafoam Baby Pillow

Perfect for my baby's naps. He fell asleep right away on it. Even my toddler loves this pillow. I didn't have an issue with a chemical smell but did air it out like it says on packaging. We have both the baby and toddler sizes and we love both. I tried to take a picture of the width of each pillow (baby size on top of toddler) and the size difference so you have an idea.

Looked long and hard for a baby pillow. I know that is not recommended for babies to sleep with pillows but my boy wanted it and thank god for this pillow because it is perfect. My boy is now 4 months and loves this.I didn't have an issue with flat head syndrome as my baby moved his alot from the get-go and rounded out beautifully on his own BUT I see why this would help with flat head syndrome. I was very conscious of the head shape because culturally where I am from parents are very hands on about how they wish for their baby's heads to look. For example, boys with square heads are considered more beautiful and masculine so parents will try to square their baby's heads. I know this may say sound weird to some, lol.This pillow rounds out the head. It is very low maybe about an inch thick, which is good so it doesn't mess with alignment or arching of the back. Also, when baby sleeps for long periods, the pillow is a ventilated SOFT foam so it takes shape of baby PLUS it doesn't get hot.The ventilation for me was a plus as my baby is a super hot baby. He sweats for everything even when he's in a sleeveless onesie, it's crazy. It's genetics...I will purchase the toddler pillow to see how big and thick that one is. Highly recommended and I believe this is a good baby shower gift for first time parents who are not aware of SIDs + Flat Head Syndrome.BTW, you must air this pillow out for 48 hours and it does not come with a pillow cover.

During my son's 2 month appointment, the pediatrician noticed that my son had developed a slight case of flat head syndrome. The doctor gave me some suggestions on how to heal it, including lots of tummy time, and then in 2 months they would reevaluate and take other measures if needed.I did lots of tummy time like they said but I wanted to do something extra since he HAD to lay on his back while he slept.I bought this pillow after reading all of the reviews and do not regret it one bit. I loved that it gave me a reassurance that I was actively trying to fix the problem even when I was sleeping.Pros:My son has been using this pillow for 3 months now and his flat spot on his head is pretty much unnoticeable now!If you are worried about suffocation if they flip over, I tested out how porous the pillow was and I was able to breathe through it with ease.Small enough that it is easily pack-able for trips.I love that it isn't an obnoxious color and that it looked good in the crib.The cover is machine-washable.The edge of the pillow has a beveled edge so it was the perfect height for a little 2 month old's head and neck.Cons:The first time I washed it the material around the zipper ripped.The material peals a little bit.It rubbed all of the hair off of the back of my son's head (which is a small price to pay because I'd rather have him lose hair that grows back than for him to have a flat head in my opinion).Now that my son is older he easily rolls off of it during the night.This has by far been the best purchase I have made for my son as of yet!

I just got this pillow in a few days ago and my baby loves it. It's about an inch thick and forms to her head.Pros-• it's compact size is perfect dimensions for her• Very soft and comfortable• Easy to remove pillowcase (can be purchased separately)• Baby likes it• Seems to help alleviate the pressure by contouring the pressure evenly around the head and shoulders• Makes my conscience feel better knowing I'm trying to help her with "back is best"• I can still nurse comfortably• can be used in rocky n play or strollerCons• it's white making it easy to get dirty• had a slight odor but it went away fast after being out of the packageDon't forget to only use this product while baby is being supervised

I ordered this after I realized my son was starting to develop a little bit of a flat head. He was only 8 weeks at the time and the doctor wasn’t concerned but recommended a variety of things to keep it from getting worse and this pillow has been working! He doesn’t sleep with it under his head but we use it when he’s on his activity mat, in the swing and when he’s lounging. If you are concerned about flat head or just want a safe pillow for your child, I would recommend getting this one!

I know that parents are advised to have their babies sleep flat on their backs on a firm surface with no pillows or blankets. However, if you are severely sleep deprived and have exhausted all methods of getting your newborn with reflux to follow these guidelines, as a parent you start trying other methods of getting some sleep for both yourself and your little one. My baby likes sleeping on a softer surface at a subtle incline with his head resting on this pillow. I bought this when he was about a mth old and have continued to use it with no issues with my baby who is now 3 mths and moves his head from side to side with ease. The pillow is made well out of foam and isn't high at all which is perfect for his little neck.Note that we are also cosleeping so I'm able to check up on him often to ensure he doesn't get himself in any unsafe positions. Little one sleeps quietly and comfortably on this pillow.

My son suffered from flathead syndrome and he was a few months old by the time I bought a cushion (not this one) to correct it. When my daughter was born I wanted to catch it as early as possible so I bought this pillow due to its claim of “scientifically proven to reduce flathead syndrome”. My daughter is now 2 months old and has been using this every night since she was days old. If anything her head is probably worse than my son’s was at this stage! I have no idea how the makers can claim it’s “scientifically proven”! Honestly don’t waste your money! I’m now using the cushion I used for my son, I just hope it can be corrected and isn’t too late! :(

I never write reviews but I felt I had to for this pillow! I have 5 month old twins, sleeping in separate cots on exactly the same sort of mattress... my daughter sleeps fine and has done from about 14 weeks but my son seems to hate his bed, and seems to be uncomfortable as it is a very firm surface to sleep on, out of desperation I decided to give this clevamama clevafoam pillow a try... AMAZING he now sleeps through 12 hours and seems so settled it’s unbelievable what a difference it has made! Definitely worth giving it a try if your little one doesn’t sleep well on a mattress alone. Best purchase I’ve made! I finally get some rest!

I don’t normally leave reviews but after 2 months of my 3.5 month old having 3 hourly wake ups and then getting worse, to the point where my baby was waking every 40 minutes I feel I need to. I know this pillow doesn’t say anywhere that it helps baby to sleep and it could just be a coincidence, but seriously, I’ve tried absolutely everything, spent hours laid awake at night getting tips off the internet to try and help my son to sleep longer, nothing worked. I saw a few other reviews saying this helped none sleeping babies to finally sleep so I thought for £14.99 it’s worth a try and my god he’s slept through!! I so wish I’d of bought this pillow sooner and saved myself so many hours of lost sleep, hopefully the sleepy nights continue.

Not recommended for younger baby. I think is might because the younger baby’s head it too soft to sleep on any flat surface. My baby have been using this pillow for 2 weeks, and her head start to become flat. She used to sleep on the infant pillow with a hole in the middle (same brand) and it works on round head really well, I’m going to switch back on it.

My baby loves this pillow he has scoliosis and also kyphosis and has trouble when sleeping on one side however since using this pillow he has found comfort on that side and I’m very happy with this this pillow has been a god send and I would highly recommend
