Firstly I'm not a Green Tea expert, but I've become somewhat of a connoisseur. I've been searching for the best tasting affordable Japanese Green Tea that comes in tea bags. Here's what I've discovered.SA Japanese Green Sen Cha Tea (this product) tastes good. After having several drinks, I decided that I do like this tea, but it's just not my favorite. Perhaps my confusion about the taste is that I'm not used to such a high quality green tea. It has a very slight nutty note to the taste and also some grassy notes. It's probably the grass notes in the taste that is confusing me. As far as appearance, the tea bags are synthetic and the tea looks high quality. Loose tea can be found in each packet which I pour into my cup before pouring water over the bag. Strangely, the string is unusually short too. While this tea is of a high quality without any bitterness, I personally prefer some of my other green teas over this. It's pretty good, but pricey. -Rating: 4/5Kirkland Signature Sencha/Matcha Green Tea - Tastes the most grass like, little caffeine and very green appearance, not bitter and somewhat bland concerning the classic taste you get from a tea pot (no sweet hints in the taste). Comes in synthetic tea bag. A good choice though, tastes great. -Rating: 4.5/5Maden-en Japanese Sencha Green Tea - This has a slight (maybe medium strength) nutty note to the taste (somewhat like white peony tea), color is yellow, but not bitter at all. Comes in a typical tea bag. There is little to no caffeine and while I wasn't expecting the nutty notes, I found this tea had its place and was quite enjoyable. -Rating: 4/5Yamamotoyama Sushi Bar Style Green Tea - I find this to taste most like the Japanese tea I make in my Japanese tea pot. This tea tastes great and has slight sweet note to the taste. This tea is not bitter when brewed and maintains a green/yellow color. Unfortunately, while I consider this to personally be my favorite tasting Japanese green tea from a bag, it also has more caffeine than the other teas I've tried, so I have to watch how much I drink and when I drink it. -Rating: 4.8/5However, If you just want great tasting Japanese Green Tea, I'd recommend buying these: A cast iron Japanese Tea pot, such the Cast Iron Dragonfly Tea Set, and Yamamotoyama Loose Sencha Green Tea, 7-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6). I never thought a tea pot could make such a difference in taste, but it does.

I love the packets.. makes its so convenient for on the go. and the extra matcha powder gives this tea a wonderful glow while you savor the flavor. and any matcha residue at the bottom of my cup - i just put some more hot water in.. and presto its like have a light tea beverage.. !

I was so excited about getting my package. SA Japanese Green Tea Sen Cha is top shelf green tea.But when I opened the package and counted the packs of tea there were only 88! The package said 100-count. I'm shocked, horrified and disappointed.This is the 1st time Amazon.com has let me down.

This is a very good Japanese Sen Cha. Very 'grassy' tasting.The only negative is the high price. I ordered it via Warehouse Deals for about20 bucks.If the price is prohibitive, there are similar tasting products in bags from others for afraction of the cost of this product.

I'm a huge Genmai Cha fan. SA makes a wonderful Genmai Cha and this large pack is a great value. Yum!

I re-order on regular basis. All good!

Seems a little too weak, not as delicious as I had hoped. I am still searching for the right product.

I was looking for a quality bagged green tea for everday workplace consumption. I've really enjoyed SÀ, it's the highest quality tea.
