I am a senior. I received the PediNova Pro machine today and I just tried it on my very thick toenails. It was easy to use folowing the downloadable education videos. It worked like a charm to smooth out and shorten my ugly toenails. Now my feet look normal and I don't have to hide them anymore. I would recommend you use it on low until you get the hang of using it. I like the fact that it plugs into the wall and not wireless or rechargeable because it has more power this way. I also like that it comes with a sturdy case and about 13 attachments and a bunch of attachable sandpaper files. Great product. I would definitely give it as a gift or recommend it to everyone to buy.

I am embarassed to admit it, but I had - at least until I purchased this pedicure tool - very bad calluses on my heels. In fact, they were so bad, I didn't even want to go to a salon to get a pedicure! I've tried other battery operated tools, but they weren't ever strong or powerful enough. They would smooth over the edges, but not significantly reduce the thickness of the calluses.I read a positive review of this tool in the Wall Street Journal, and decided to invest in one more tool. Within 2 minutes of use, I knew I had found the product I had been looking for! After a couple of initial uses (I didn't want to remove too much at one time), my calluses were virtually gone, and the applicator wasn't degraded at all. After more than a month of use, I continue to be amazed at how quickly, easily, and effectively it works.I highly recommend this tool to anyone with similar issues. I can't comment on the other applicator tools (I've only used the two different callus removing tools), but I can say that it is well worth the money.

I have terribly terribly ticklish feet and have found I just can't tolerate professional pedicures. This is a wonderful, well-built kit, easy to handle, easy to use, with a nice assortment of bits. The machine is substantial and feels 'real' in the hand, with a convenient extra-long cord. The speed is thumbwheel-adjustable, making it easy to use with one hand. I had read the reviews and was expecting a high-quality product, but even so I was surprised by this.Amazon won't let me post links, but mine came with the DVD and I see it's the same content as the YouTube video "Pedinova III Professional Nail Care System". Potential buyers or users with no DVD complaining of inadequate directions in the box might want to take a look at that. It's intended for professional nail technicians but I found the information clear enough to use it well on my own.Note: I did not receve the Pedinova III but instead was sent the NovaPro. As far as I can tell it's the same product in new packaging.

I find this product to be excellent and delivery was very prompt. Part of why I bought it was the good reviews. I figured that anything would help my feet since they are not in good shape and my toenails are very thick. I am very pleased with results. The only thing keeping my rating from a 5 is the difficulty of figuring out how to use this. There is a CD which comes with the kit but it was really directed more at professionals and more importantly did not exactly match the particular model that was sent. The many "bits" were not really identified and there are so many of them that I had no idea where to begin. The pictures of them were hard to see on the brochure and they named them B10, B3, and B2 and there were no corresponding numbers or identification on the bits themselves. It would be nice if the bits themselves could be labeled with the numbers (or at least labeled so you know what they are, what they are made of, and what they are used for.) All in all it was very confusing. There were also bits for acrylic nails which I had no need for. I would have preferred a kit which only was for pedicures.(It also might have been cheaper that way.) Having said that, I think it works very well and I am very glad I bought it.

This is my second purchase of this product. The first one lasted over 10 years.

I wish I could begin to describe how much better my feet look since I bought this.NOTE: The case that I received is a dark blue, not the black as shown in the photograph on this product page.Pros: electric, not wimpy battery, power. More little doodads than I know what to do with! Infinite power from slow and very steady to "get the job done quickly"! The tips/tools clean very easily with alcohol, and there's even an order form for replacement tips, which seem quite reasonably priced.Cons: there ought to be a reverse power, for switching hands.I use this little machine to burr down my little fungal nail so that the Clear Nail Pro (from my dermatologist) can penetrate and work better. I use it to push back and remove the heavy cuticle build-up around my toe nails. My naked nails (no polish allowed with the Clear Nails Pro) look super nice, even the little fungal nail. On both my hands and feet, I use it to shape my nails and keep them neat. I also use it to grind off my rough heel callouses.I had a Revlon battery powered manicure set that I received in a Christmas stocking 20 years ago. It was a piece of shoddy plastic junk, but I had no alternative available--or so I thought.. I took the monetary plunge and ordered this. I am so glad I did.

Happy FeetThe Pedinova did a wonderful job reducing the thickness and trimming the length of toenails. It is lightweight and easy to hold which allows you to have better control of the unit. I was most impressed with the fact that even at slower speeds the attachments were very effective—especially when I was using the trimmer for the first time.The only complaint I have is the fact that it took 3 weeks for it to arrive. The redeeming factor in the end was the fact that unit works so well. I was able to give myself a better pedicure than I have had in years and I did it all in the comfort of my home.It is recommended that a pedicure be done lon dry feet and nails—so add a moisturizing lotion to finish up and admire your home pedicure.

I love my Pedinova! Sure, it's a little overkill for just my personal needs, and at the higher end of the price range it felt a little bit frivolous, but what the hell, life is short. LOL. So glad I did. My nails & feet have never looked & felt better! Awesome, high quality product.

It works well, but gets hot quicker than I expected. I was expecting some different kind of bits
