if the tapped threads aren't perfect, the stainless helicoil wire tends to jump threads, and forget trying to remove these once they're damaged.

The insertion tool included with this kit was poorly made. The metal bent multiple times inside the helicoil and then snapped off, making the kit useless.

The pitch of the tap is not quite right. I used a finer pitch tap and it worked much better.

Drill bit was cheap Chinese made and went dull quickly. Resharpened then it broke

The wire coil is so soft that it just deforms and stretches down into the hole when you try to snap the tang off, causing the screw to cross-thread and jam. Tried twice and gave up.

Has everything you need to install new threads.Worked fine.

Took well over a week to ship and there’s not even any coils in this package.
