Works well,I purchased this to help with recurring cold sores, whom I kidding herpes I know yuck' I wasn't sure how much it really helped since mine was already on the mend when I received the order. But, unfortunately my 20 yr old woke me up very upset with the unholy little blisters clustered on his lip for the first time ever the following week! I'm happy to report that taking 250-500 or 1-2 tabs a day with a little dab or 2 of Forces of Nature H- Balm and it was completely gone no trace in less than a wk. It was crusted over in a day and just completed gone really by day five I could see nothing he said he could still feel it a little . I'm impressed, fastest I've ever seen & hope to see no more'

It has been my experience that BHT will not prevent or cure shingles. I read a user review years ago that said, "After suffering from painful shingles for over one month, I had no pain after taking this stuff." So I did not take the shingles shot. What a mistake. I got shingles and it still hurts after 7 weeks.

About what I expected.

Make sure that what you have is herpes. There are lots of virus that cause painful skin lesions on the lips, inside the mouth, on the genitals and anus. A two week regimen of BHT will cure herpes, not sure about any of the others. If you take this and still have sores, consider they are not herpes, or that you didn't take enough, long enough. After I took this, I had a new mouth sore so I went to the doctor, he swabbed it and a week later said it was not herpes. I have not had any herpes since taking BHT. And I am much more careful now about getting reinfected. For the other [not herpes] sores I take PROBIOTIC ACIDOPHILUS BIOBEADS to make sure I have lots of 'good guys' in my intestines to fight off the bad guys. I take the biobeads every day now, but the BHT for the herpes was a one time treatment.

I found the VRP works better. Because VRP doesn't have filler and it's crystallized. But since VRP has discontinued there product I decided to buy Bht in bulk and make my own capsules. Yes this product works minimally at cutting symptoms down for the any Virus ailments by a few days and making it less severe but it's not strong enough to do the job that needs to be done. You are better off making your own capsules with pure bht in it.

I'd like to first start by saying this product is truly a game changer!! I've tried everything under the sun for my gH from mega doses of vitamin C, lysine, monolaurin, lemon balm, St. John's wart, curcumin, licorice, green tea pills, and the list goes on and on. I was so happy to have found the information on this product because desperation sets in when your battling constant outbreak after outbreak so I'd try and do anything to get some relief in order to resume normal life.. so the trial began. And within 3days I had healing and noticeable change!!!! I was so ecstatic and grateful that I kept going and 1 month in I'm out break free!!! I can't rave enough about this stuff and for anyone who is at their wits end with hsv please give it a shot. Oh I might mention that I did have mild side effects of a skin rash on my arms for about a week. But eh I rubbed a little ointment on it and it resolved. Also the side effects didn't come close to the issue that lead me to take bht so I was okay with it..
