I made a simple pasta dish using Italian cherry tomatoes, tomato paste, olive oil, garlic, onion powder, oregano and cheese. Several of the ingredients came from Amazon, making this an easy Amazon-inspired meal. I also served it with homemade garlic bread made with olive oil, yeast and sugar.The wide ribbons gave the dish a restaurant-quality appearance and had a wonderful taste and texture. The pasta cooked evenly, held together well without becoming mushy, and was durable enough to stand up to the thick tomato sauce and cheese. It also held the sauce beautifully in all of its folds.These noodles are versatile enough for tomato sauce, cream sauce, meat sauce, soups or a simple olive oil and herb dish. The ingredient list is refreshingly simple, although this is wheat pasta and is not gluten-free. When you begin with a quality brand and good ingredients, you really do not need anything complicated to make an excellent meal.There were three of us, and the package made plenty for dinner with leftovers. I may serve the remaining pasta as a side dish with another meal.
