The idea of this is to give you more. torque on the bolts without straining. This wheel brave works well to loosen the bolts and tighten them up. If you use the sockets with another driver or a torque wrench or an extension, it can poke through the square drive slot in the middle of the socket and cause clearance issues if the lug nut has a domed top.
