UAG Folio iPad mini (5th Gen, 2019) Case Metropolis Feather-Light Rugged [Black] Military Drop Tested iPad Cover with Apple Pencil Holder

I was looking for a durable case that could also hold an Apple Pencil and am happy with this purchase. I spend considerable time on construction sites and in buildings and needed a case that would protect the device should I fall or drop it and am confident in what I found. The exterior is a durable (plastic-ish) material and the inside of the flap that covers the screen is soft to prevent scratches. The case fits the device very snugly and I'm not concerned about the device falling out. The magnetic enclosure keeps the flap closed and I like how it folds and supports the iPad at an angle in landscape mode for working or watching shows. The elastic holder for the apple pencil keeps the pencil secure and I'm not concerned about it slipping out (although I wonder if the elastic will one day stretch, but the iPad may be replaced at that point. The cutouts for the connections (charging port, buttons) are adequate, I can plug in the pencil to charge without taking the iPad out of the case and the power and volume buttons are easily accessible. I'm very happy with this purchase and looked at several at the time. I would recommend this case to others.

I love my IPad mini 5 and have had it since it was released. When I got it I purchased this exact protector and cover for it and now the old one has finally wore out so I got this new one to replace it. It’s great protection and made well. My iPad mini 5 is my favorite piece of tech and when it wears out I’ll definitely get another one and I buy a cover just like this for the next one if they still make them by that time in the future. I needed a folding stand case for my 5th-gen Apple iPad Mini with a loop for my Apple Pencil and this product does the job well. It's tough and rubbery like a car tire. Provides great protection from drops. It's easy to put on and take off. In the open stand horizontal position, I can keep the charging cable plugged in. (It's funny, when I was looking for this brand I couldn't find it because I thought it was called "Gen." The silver "UAG" logo looks like a lower-case "gen" when it's upside-down.)

Offers great protection for my Apple mini. Had small issue in holding up device. Tends to slip backwards and fall back. Nevertheless i bought this to protect my tablet, and that it does really well. No need to look further.

This works well with screen protectors, it stays tight to the device, and it has good sturdy bumper corners. The magnetic aspect of the case is good, but, it is not strong enough to hold onto a refrigerator door for instance. I would choose this over a Zugu case any day. It is very similar and easier to hold as well.

This case is perfect. My iPad is protected, the buttons are all exposed, which I prefer because they are easier to use then when they have plastic covering them. The main thing I was looking for was a stand that actually stays in place and it does! Lots of angles to choose from and it doesn’t tip over. Highly recommend!

Purchased this before and it lasted for years. This time, within a few months the coating has already fallen off the closure tab.

I bought this for my 5th gen mini and I absolutely LOVE this case. It feels great, is made well, no weird smells and has a great look to it. The grip is not slippery at all, the elastic holds the pencil perfectly and the stand holds the ipad upright just as it's supposed to. I just bought an iphone case from this brand because I like this case sooooo much!

This is a truly shock proof and really strong cover. It has a facility for propping up your iPad too. I can thoroughly recommend it. I bought one for my iPad mini in Guernsey and it was so good I bought another for my husband! If you travel (remember that!) this is really the safest cover you can have.

Sembra robusto quanto dichiara. Mi é caduto una volta sola da 1 m. a cover aperta. Ha fatto il suo lavoro, il rumore all’impatto era quello dello spessore della gomma.

Ho atteso un po’ per fare la recensione, ma posso confermare che vale ogni euro speso. Comoda, stabile e robusta. Prima ne cambiavo una dopo pochi mesi, ma questa per ora sembra indistruttibile

Purchased for my sons iPad, has been dropped a few times from 12/14inches onto a hard surface, has kept it protected so far.
