100% unused drive. initiate to boot
100% unused, you will have to initiate the disk as it has not been used. if you dont know how to do this look it up it will help your situation if you think its not working.

I returned a drive from another seller because it was a used drive sold as new. I ran diagnostics on this and it was indeed a new drive.

Decent hard drive for small av units
Currently using this hard drive in a eufy HomeBase 3 for local storage. It performs as expected and for the most part fairly stable. Speeds are slow, as expected for drives that aren’t ssd. The con to this drive is sometimes I get errors with the camera recordings. This occurs with higher nitrate devices such as the eufy floodlight cam E340. This device records in 3k. Sometimes I get a 2 min segment that it says was deleted or “Missing” every so often. I’m not quite sure if it truly is the drive or the camera manufacturer; however “, prior to the drive being used I was using a micro sd card inside of the camera itself and did not ever experience this issue. But, for the cost and the amount of storage. It is a decent drive. Would recommend for low quality definition or nitrate cameras only.
