I work at a small elderly housing authority and residents wanted some things posted but every time we put them on the community board they "walked off". We put this up last week and have not had any issues with it. Install was easy, just a few screws and anchors and it was in, we added a couple of washers as well but I don't think it is required. I would definitely recommend having two people to hang it because you need to have the door open when hanging. It is better quality than I expected, for the price I expected less but was pleasantly surprised. I cannot comment on long term durability but so far I would recommend getting this. Review: Good product, even better customer service - We ordered multiple boards, both the cork and the dry erase options. One of the boards arrived damaged. Contacting the seller was easy (all electronically through desertcart) and the issue was resolved in less than 24 hours. The boards are sturdy and look great. We bought several to line up next to each other. Because the frames have a slight curve, we had to space them a few inches apart. If you use them outside under a semi-covered area, they'll probably be weather resistant but I don't think completely waterproof. The cover is a lightweight plexiglass. There are two locks on the front, and the quality of lock is okay. We ordered 5 boards total and ALL THE KEYS ARE THE SAME. It will keep people from hanging unapproved flyers but I don't think they're much of a theft deterrent. But it's a bulletin board . ## Features - [What You Get] Enclosed Bulletin Board with Overall size 36" x 24" ( frame included); Lockable surface size: 34" x 22"; Internal depth up to 0.6 inches; Include fixing kits and accessories - [High Quality Details] Natural cork backing, self-healing, accepts pins. I use mine for a community bulletin board and am very happy with this product. **Q: Is this completely water proof? Will be mounted on an exterior wall that will be in the elements, rain, snow and ice.** A: No this is not water proof nor water resistant! It is flimsy in the 48x36 size when open. There is NO gasket to make it weather resistant! This is for indoor use only. The locking cover keeps "kid fingers" off and "honest people honest". That is all. The manufacturer ship this with a minimum of package protection. Had two shipped both suffered broken cork boards rendering them useless. Product was refunded in a prompt manner. Just wish they would put it in a box to protect it. **Q: I just want to make sure that this is, indeed, an outdoor unit that is well sealed.** A: We have 3 up at a community pool. They lock well and have been great. No issues with wetness or xocondnden condensation. I recommend them for sure. Best prices we found for outdoor units and have been great for the month we have had them up. **Q: Can the door only be opened with a key or can it be left unlocked?** A: i would suggest always locking the door, while you can shut it without the key it will not stay shut ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for what I needed! *by A***R on November 25, 2019* This was a great purchase. It has just enough clearance on the inside to allow one touches and slabs to fit inside. The lock is super handy to ensure no one takes cards out of the case. We will be buying more! ## Frequently Bought Together - VIZ-PRO Tamperproof Lockable Cork Noticeboard Class 1 Aluminium Framed 36x24 Inches - simplehuman 55 Liter / 14.5 Gallon Commercial Swing Top Trash Can, ADA-Compliant, 11-20 Gallons, Brushed Stainless Steel - iDesign Classico Metal Tissue Reserve Bathroom, Compact Organizer, Holds 3 Rolls of Toilet Paper, Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/121568833-viz-pro-tamperproof-lockable-cork-noticeboard-class-1-aluminium-framed](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/121568833-viz-pro-tamperproof-lockable-cork-noticeboard-class-1-aluminium-framed) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
