Works great. light coats make all the difference. Always check at night to ensure you didn't over do it.

Incredible product
I'm usually scared away by anything in a spray can, and I really don't like at home car quick tweak type things but this stuff is amazing! I paint for a living and I went into this very skeptical (after a Plasti Dip wheel job gone horribly wrong) but Nite Shades tinted my SRT 4's lights beautifully! I used 2 coats and I think it was very tasteful, not too dark, but awesome deep smokey look. I've seen 3 shades, and its too dark in my opinion. I would like to go over my process, as I feel like it will help others get the best results.First remove your light assembly.Clean it up good, then with Imperial wet/dry 1500 grit sand paper, wet sand your lights surface really well. Use a little water and dish soap. After giving the light a good buffing with the sand paper, wipe it down with a paper towel. Wipe it down with alcohol. Then with a microfiber cloth, buff it good and dry, being careful not to touch the actual light with your handsSet them up to paint, with brisk strokes starting off the light and ending off the light, hit the edges. Then, sweep the entire light with your Nite Shade.Wait 3-5 minutes and apply another coat (repeat if you desire a third coat)After you have the shade you want, apply a clear coat 4-5 coats, in the same fashion.let dry over night. The next day, wet sand again, lightly.Wipe off with a micro fiber cloth, then apply a good amount of Meguiar's ultimate compound and with a micro fiber cloth, buff the hell outta the light!Wipe it off, clean it up, and it should look just like glass. Mine looked beautiful and I've found videos of people who followed nearly the same steps and had amazing results!Trust me, don't just go spray this stuff on your lights. Do it right and its just stunning! Love it, will continue to use it!

This Works Nice
Some vehicles you can't just buy a set of GTS light covers for. Or you spend 3x what a stock light housing is to buy a custom ones. The VHT lens tint is a cheaper way to get a custom look. There are a few ways of painting your light housings, but I would rather remove the light housings off the vehicle in sted of masking half the car to keep the over spray from getting on your paint. Plus you can get a better even coats of paint when having all the parts in front of you. I did the taillights on my 05 Mercury Grand Marquis, including the lenses on the trunk hood. I first cleaned the lenes with wax and greas remover. Masked off the areas I didn't want the spray tint to be painted on. Gave all the paintable areas a light wet sanding with 600 grit sand paper. Now the lenses have a dull look to them. Now youjust gave something for the spray tint to grab on too. Clean again with wax and greas remover and wipe dry with a clean rag. Look to make sure there is no dust or hair on the parts you are painting. I found 3 light coats of VHT lens tint is more then enough, but if you want darker add a few more. With the parts laid out in front of you and clean, spray light even coats on all parts. Make sure you put the same amount of spray tint on all parts or one part will look darker than the other. Your light housings will look like they have a gloss to them. This tint will dull out to a flat black. If you are looking for a flat look, like your car is a flat black this will work for you. I like the custom look so I bought the VHT SP515 Quick Coat Clear Acrylic Enamel. If you use this clear, when the tint is dry to the touch but not harden give them a light coat of the clear. I did 3 light coats of clear, spraying when the clear was tacky. Let dry over night and put the lenses back on the vehicle. Remember the more coatsof tint, the darker or harder it will be for others to see. Also, check with your town or state. Might have laws against lens tints.

Good coverage and work well
I liked how this product resurrected these 60 year old tail lights look "very good", You must absolutely follow the directions precisely. You must fix all the basic problems with your light lenses before using this product. it makes them look good but not perfect. Also like any autobody work you must "clean prep prep prep, clean" then wipe down with a pre-paint / degreaser solution then you can spray. This stuff will run if you lay it on heavy so spray several light coats, I did 3 coats with 15 minute between each coat I also sprayed the inside with 2 coats. For me this was a great product it revived these old lenses to my satisfaction. Original lens (before painting} shown on car, other 2 pictures are after restoring and painting

Just as Expected!
Definitely did the job I was looking for and very happy with the results. I actually did three coats on both the front and back which made it look dark overall all for both tail and headlights but also as you see from the pics, no issues with the light coming through at night, for braking etc…Product arrived quickly and packaged well. Make sure you tape off the area(s) professionally with painters tape so that you don’t get any overspray anywhere you’re not spraying. This is on a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage.Would definitely purchase again if needed. This also worked well on my door mirror caps that were originally body colored as well as the rear bumper reflectors and the front grille. Love the gloss look once dried.
