love it!
This little guy give me joy to look at. I can see that one leg might have been slightly broken in manufacturing, but then repaired, as there is a slight bump not existing on the other legs, but it only shows upon examination. I was surprised that it doesn't have what I consider a finished surface, like the clear glazed smoothness of a mug, for example. It's unfinished surface means that I will need to put a felt pad under it before putting on a wood table for example. Alternately, I may take it to a DIY ceramic shop and see what they recommend to clear glaze it with. It is a little bit bigger than an average woman's whole hand.

A goodlooking, fragile little beast
He looks like a well educated octopus, don't you agree? Today his name is Stuart. Yesterday he was named something else entirely different that obviously did not strike a chord with me since I cannot recall it for the life of me.Anyways, he's no larger than my hand and I have tiny hands. Like teeny hands - as in my ring size 4.5. He's super cute. He feels like unpolished porcelain - feels fragile, which I like in an odd way. Sometimes I will glance over at him and imagine him in different colors. But, I like that he appears almost incomplete. Although, I may put like a sealer on him - something not too glossy. For the "just in case" since I am clumsy and messy and the chance of him getting smoothie, makeup, booze on him is high and the fact that he is bright white and not sealed just screams "please stain me with anything you have on hand" which I will unknowingly oblige.

Not glazed so moss in aquarium grows well on it
About the size of your fist. I put this guy in an aquarium to grow moss on as it is not glazed. it’s turning green now with mosses and the yellow shrimp look striking sitting on this guys new green coat. The tank is an aquascape tank with various live plants, driftwood, misses, gold and yellow and other neocardinia shrimp. This is a great piece of aquarium decor when white and as it’s being covered with aquarium mosses as it is realistic in appearance and not a cartoon as most aquarium decor is.I set him on top of a clay brick that serves as a raised hiding cave for the gold barb fish that are in this cold water tank. I will take some photos as it greens up more and post them over time.I can see this being used as decor, a paper weight, as an address marker ornament on a beach house, napkin ring for a beach house, and many more uses.I really appreciate that it is a realistic representation and not a cartoon.

Cute but not super impressed.
This is a bit smaller than I expected. The finish is matte and a little rough (I had hoped for a smoother, shinier & brighter finish), though it’s hard to tell by the photos. It reminds me of one of the “paint it yourself” statues you can buy for kids at the dollar store. The detail is not as pronounced as the stock photo, especially for the eyes. I will probably paint it and add detail myself. It arrived early but a little dirty. It’s still a cute piece that serves its purpose, but in retrospect it’s probably not worth the price.

This broctopus is the best desk bro ever.
I have no idea why I love this little guy so much, but I do. Ever since I saw him on Amazon, I've wanted him, yet it took me months to follow through because it seemed like such a silly purchase. When will I ever actually *need* a stoneware octopus on my desk?I tell you what, though, he makes me happy every time I see him. Maybe it's because he looks like he's just as capable of juggling a thousand things as I like to pretend I am. Maybe it's because he looks like he's perpetually ready to give me a high-five. Whatever it is, he was well worth the $10.(Oh and you can see in the picture, his front tentacle has a weird little seam. That is definitely true to life. But rather than let it bother you, I recommend you come up with a badass story for how he got that wicked scar. You're welcome.)

Cute. Small
Cute, but way smaller than I thought it would be. It also has a really weird texture that seems to rub off? Its just going to sit on a shelf but still not quite what I expected

Cute decor item
I love him! It’s on the smaller size and very light, and definitely wouldn’t survive a drop on the hardwood but he’s super cute. The texture isn’t super smooth so he could be painted if you wanted but I like it as is.

Very nice
I really like this figurine while not detailed there is no mistaking what it is and it is in such a pose as to look like it is about to move.looks great with my john perry sea life figurines. I see the line someone commented on but I didn't feel this detracted from it at all. You can turn the figure to suit the angle you prefer to look at it. I like the feel of the material its made out of also. I would not hesitate to purchase as a gift for anyone who likes sea lifeAddendum Still loving it

As advertised
Pretty cute, it’s small, but good octopus shape, non-glazed ceramic. Maybe slightly expensive for what it is.
