I have a dog! I vacuum every day to get up dog hair for my grandchildren. Don’t have it stick to their socks and it doesn’t become a problem. So my filters start to smell like dog after about one week of use and it is really handy to have extra filters to wash out the dirty ones. Let them dry for a day or two on the counter while I use the other filters and it keeps my house and back and smelling clean and looking clean!

I had been washing the original filter that came with our V10 for the last couple years but the overall suction power degraded significantly over the last several months even when cleaned. Of course cleaning resulted in it being down for two plus days while it dried. I decided perhaps I should get another to see if it corrects the performance issue. This immediately solved the issue with suction and it looks and fits just like the original. I have been using for a month now and I have yet need it cleaned and when I do, I at least have a second I can swap to avoid the downtime. Overall, a solid buy that has my vac operating great again and I have a spare filter.

So, for the past few months my Dyson v10 absolute will work for a short while, then intermittently turn on and off with the white light blinking. I cleaned my filter, let it dry 48 hours. I searched the internet, I watched youtube videos on disassembling the unit, I cleaned it up an down, but after a use or two it would go back to this ANNOYING intermittent on and off and beeping. I was going to call Dyson for a repair or replacement, but I said maybe I will try getting a new removeable filter. I came to Amazon and read some reviews on this and other products and people talked about getting better suction [but not about eliminating the intermittent on/off/beeping] This product had the best reviews. I bought it and.. my Dyson is better than brand new. Immediately you can tell the air is flowing strong through the filter. The power is incredible, like brand new. It was a little snug to twist in [as other reviews said] but gives a snug fit. I rely on Amazon reviews for purchase, so felt obligated to write this review. Plus having 2 replacements will allow me to use the unit when I clean them out. I will probably buy these every 6 months, I love the power.

Great replacement filter for the Dyson stick vacuum v10. Would recommend

I had 2 original filters I would switch out while one was washed waiting for it to dry. My Dyson was making that on-off noise with the icon displaying a blockage. Checked out all the usual suspect areas - nothing. Went online Dyson site for troubleshooting and even opened up the motor area they instructed - nothing. Decided to try new filters instead of the $150 motor replacement their site recommended. So glad I did! It was the filters after all. I guess they get old and can't get clean well enough. Not only did this fit like a charm, my vacuum is quieter - probably like it was years ago new. I highly recommend this for your Dyson V10 (and whatever other models it might be compatable with).

I should have bought these YEARS ago! They fit perfectly on my Dyson Cyclone V10 Motorhead vaccuum. It's super strong and quiet, and truly extends the life of my vaccuum. I actually want to vaccuum now! Excellent value. Looks just like the original filter as well!
