VViViD Blue Stencil Vinyl Masking Film with Anti-Bleed Technology (12" x 6ft)

Bought this as paint stencil material to camo some firearms with Aluma-hyde II.It's wide enough to wrap around the whole handguard assembly, and mine is NOT a slim/lightweight profile guard. It's actually probably 4" too wide and will definitely overlap itself. I'll be trimming the width as necessary.

This product is a true winner! I'm new to etching glass. Many people told me to just use either transfer tape or vinyl for my stencils. Well, that was a failure. I purchased a roll of this specifically for stencil making vinyl and have never looked back. It adheres to the glass (curves and all) ever so nicely. I am now able to make small designs for wine or juice glasses. This vinyl rolls right on - especially good on a rounded surface like a glass. I have etched many wine glasses. I usually put a stencil on the bowl of the glass and then either diamond dot the base or glitter the stem and the base. So pretty. Sorry I have no pictures at this time. I did a craft sale and sold out. Time to make more.

Works perfect for what I needed it for ... it's a bit thin was thinking it would be a bit thicker but overall it's ok

This is great material for etching glass. It was easy to use, apply, and remove. I used my Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut the stencils. My machine settings were: Stencil material, blade depth-3, passes-1, force-24, speed-2. I will order this brand again.

Be careful if using the standard grip mat. When peeling the vinyl off after cutting, much of the backing was so secured to the mat it was impossible to remove without leaving it behind. Works best with light grip mat

Firstly I need to say that I am new to the Cricut user family, and having many hobbies including RCing, Airbrush, and graphic arts.This being my first attempt at making my own Cricut masking for my RCing Hobby I'm really happy with the results of this masking film..The Cricut setting used is custom vinyl with more pressure, which I failed to do on this design and had to help the letters out when weeding, when I put this inside the cleaned lexan body it stayed in place with no paint bleeding however the graphic on the hood needed to be rubbed several times do to the body details before paint...Pros: easy to use, adhesion is good, and removal was typical as other masking vinyls for this purpose..for those into painting lexan bodies you know the letters have to be mirrored because you paint the inside and this vinyl masking done great for me.Cons ... Haven't found anything negative yetLastly this sure beats doing it all with an exactly and frisket film!!!

Thought I would save a little money by purchasing this stencil vinyl. It ended up costing me dearly. This is the worst vinyl I think I have every used. It ruined my brand new Cricut mat because, when I went to pull the backing off of the mat, it peeled apart. This left the mat covered in part of the backing from the vinyl. Also, when I pulled the stencil off the wood sign I was doing, it pulled off the paint from the sign. What I mess. I recommend just spending a little extra and getting a reputable brand.

I bought these to mask off parts of stencils when I airbrush cut-out cookies. Many times, based on the cookie shape or the stencil design (two-for-one types of stencils), you need to block one part of it. It works great for that! The lines make it easy to cut without wasting. I use latex gloves when airbrushing the cookies, and found the film separates easily from the backing without needing to take off the gloves. The adhesion is great, but comes off easily without damaging delicate edges of the masked stencil. It was a good size and value for the money and for my purposes. I used to use blue painter's tape and it works SO much better!
